Re: normal vs hard

The only thing I can say is to keep playing. If hard is kicking your ***, then drop to normal and tighten up your skills. Also as another guy stated you do have to be dialed in. The sounds and such can be quite sterile at times even if the action is lively and since I do my gaming on a second monitor on my computer desk and not on the TV, I routinely have the TV in the background while I play and that my draw your attention away from the screen. Just try to stay locked in

Re: normal vs hard

Don't go to the net unless it's a put-away volley.

Don't try flat shots if you're on the run trying to retrieve a ball.

Don't try power shots if you're on the run trying to retrieve a ball.

Don't hit volleys unless it's good or perfect timing.

Don't try drop shots unless it's good or perfect timing.

Move around to the forehand side on easy hits if playing with guys who have a much better forehand than backhand like Federer.

Get good at serving. Even if you don't get aces, you should be able to always immediately put yourself on the offensive with a good serve.

Use slices and deep shots to get back into points.
