Re: Actual Tennis

Too bad my favorite player, Del potro had these problems with his wrist. He looked like he could of really challenged the top dogs with his combination of firepower and tennis IQ. And a really class guy too, he is. As far as these top up and coming young guys you mentioned, gotta also throw Zverev in there. Another very impressive youngster.

Yeah, Del Potro would have been a star like Djokovic I believe if not for injuries. He made it into the top 5 maybe even top 3 before getting injured. It's really a shame for him. He had a chance to do what Djokovic & Murray & Federer has done.

I totally forgot about Zverev. He's a young guy too. He very well could make it to #1 in the rankings in the next 3-5 years. It will have to happen though after the decline of Djokovic & Murray though.

Yeah, your man Del Potro defeated Djokovic just like he did in the Olympics before. I bet that made you a happy man!

Del Potro's forehand was crackin' dude. You just don't see Djokovic standing there watching winners fly by like that.

He never even had a break point all match. Wonder when was the last time that happened to him ?

I've never seen Djokovic react like that after a match either. As disappointed and upset as he was though, he still was was still really cool in congratulating and embracing Del Po right afterwards. Def a class guy.

Re: Actual Tennis

Nadal goes down to Del Potro. Now it's Andy's turn to feel the wraith.

edit: I thought Nadal was looking pretty good this tournament from what I saw.

I have lost track of Olympic tennis. Are they down to the semis or what? I know Venus Williams played in the mixed doubles final today but I don't know anything about the men or women's bracket now. Thanks!
