Gossett passes away

Famous Memphis wrestling heel manager Ronnie P. Gossett passed away yesterday evening. He had been diagnosed with colon cancer in April.

Many may not know who he is, but he made a name for himself in WCCW and USWA feuding with the likes of Jeff Jarrett and manager of Jerry Lawler.

This is starting to just get crazy. We've had so many deaths in wrestling recently... to the point where it's just mind boggling... what's going on in the industry?

BTW: Yes I see that he died of colon cancer... which of course isn't caused by wrestling or the industry.

Only good thing here is that he was older and it didn't relate to steroids or any of that crap that we know of. The guy was always overweight, so that may have attributed to it.

This year has been bad for wrestling deaths imo...........I just wish it would stop already.
