I thought it could be a good idea if every wwe svr fan wrote here what they think that should be added to 2012(2011 no because that game is at least half made) so stephensonmcand other THQ people could use it to improve. Also, it is more organized that posting your ideas at the Marcus Stephenson Moves To THQ For SvR topic. What do you think?

Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
Include all of the legends (and a lot of the main guys missing) from Legends of Wrestlemania and allow us to create our own tournaments to crown all-time champions.
Oh, and a properly-functioning GM Mode would be sweet

Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
I'd like them to take a look at the proportions of everything.
-Some of the weapons are fine, but then others are comically huge.
-The belts' sizes have been discussed too many times, but they still need fixing.
-Maybe it doesn't stick out to anyone else, but I think it's worth mentioning: the ringside area is also too large. It's especially noticeable when you trigger the animation where you knock a guy off the apron into the guardrails.
On a different note, we need new arenas. Ideally, I'd love for them to go the Showdown: Legends of Wrestling route and license real arenas, but I realize that won't happen, for obvious reasons. I would just like more variety in arena models than what we have now, to help separate the shows.
At the very least, WrestleMania needs to feel different. It needs the biggest arena model, the most lights, the longest ramps (extra development time for extra animations would be worth the finished product). I'm not calling for a 1:1 scale replica of the football stadiums they've been using, obviously; just that the longer ramps themselves would set WrestleMania apart from everything else. Right now it's just like they put up the WrestleMania set in the Raw building. And when you've had however many weeks of matches in that arena, it's just lackluster.
If adding new animations for one arena isn't an option (and while I feel it'd be worth it, I understand why it wouldn't be on their end with everything else they do), filling out the rest of the arena to make it larger would be nice.
For anyone reading this, load up a match at WrestleMania on Smackdown 09/10 then load one up in Legends of WrestleMania. Even though the classic arenas were smaller sets overall, their arena models are larger and just feel more epic.Comment

Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
I already went over my idea to take the focus off of winning and losing in another topic, based on something Marcus said in his blog I don't think that's going to happen so here's my new idea...break up stats. It works in Fire Pro,it works in EA MMA.
As is we just have general ratings.
So take strength for example. This currently determines damage done for all strikes and all grapples. Kaval is a perfect example for this. He's not overall strong. He's not going to lift Big Show, his grapples shouldn't do a whole lot. However he has powerful kicks and chops. So under the current system if you gave him a strength of 9 it'd effect his grapples. If they break up the stats you could give him a 10 in kicks,8 in punches and a 6 in grapples and his overall strength comes out to a 7.
Endurance. Instead of having an overall individual parts with their own defense. Cena would have about a 5 for head with all his neck injuries but body could be 10,arms 9 and legs 7. Orton could have 8 for head,4 for arms,8 for legs,8 for body.
Submission. Swagger with a 10 for leg submissions but only 5 for body and 7 for head.
Speed. Undertaker has a slow walking speed but is still capable of high flying type moves.
Based on how it's worked in other games this should greatly improve gameplay.Comment

Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
I like that idea, goh.
My contribution: utilizing WWE Universe and Story Builder (and optionally Create A Superstar / Finisher / Belt), online wrestling promotions.
For example, we'd get, say, twenty people on OS signed up for a league, each assigned one wrestler (in-game wrestler or CAW). One player would act as the "commissioner" and would have final say over match bookings and whatnot, but he would be helped out by the WWE Universe feature (it would create matches based on rivalries, as I'm told it does for this year's version of the feature). Specific angles and rivalries inside the federation would be assigned by the Universe logic, but the rivalry segments could be created by the commissioner, or uploaded to the commissioner by any of the players involved in the rivalry.
Commissioners would also be allowed to edit wrestler attributes if desired, but a non-commissioner player would be limited to editing attires (CAW attire editor for CAWs / palette swapper for others), entrances, and movesets. Players within the league could download other players' CAWs and assign them music as need be; this would allow for opposing CAWs to have entrance music, rather than silence (I'm assuming that streaming one player's custom music over the internet would be a waste of bandwidth, and THQ probably wouldn't want to host custom music files themselves).
Basically, a forum e-fed on steroids.

Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
Strength Submission Endurance Technique Speed OVR
That's what they were in HCTP.
What I'm suggesting is...using Cena as an example
Strength:
Punches 9
Kicks 7
Grapples 9.5
He's strong but he doesn't kick much. That would have an effect on his top rope leg drop though so that's why it's a 7.
Submission:
Head 6
Body 4
Legs 8
Arms 4
He doesn't use anything other than the STF. Not sure what that counts as but I put it under leg.
Endurance:
Head 5
Body 10
Legs 9
Arms 9
Due to history of neck injuries.
Speed
Movement speed 7
Attack speed 7
He's just average there. Not slow but other than the leg drop no high flying moves.
Then an overall rating determined by the previous stats. Would guess this would come out to about a 9.Comment

Re: WWE SvR 2012 Wishlist
Smackdown Vs Raw 2012 Wishlist Thread
Figured that since most other sports titles have one of these, why not have one so Marcus and the guys can come to one spot and find the "wishes" of those of us who still live vicariously in the squared circle, through their games.
With that said, the things that I think needs an overhaul, just like Dayman posted, is the arena's/venues. It's not that they don't do a nice job with the specific aprons and mats, but adding to the atmosphere is not just throwing a different banner, aprons, and mats on the same arena.
I know that getting the licenses to use MSG, The Omni, Cow Palace, Silverdome, Skydome, Mid-South Coliseum, Cobo Arena, Greensboro like Akklaim did for Showdown: Legends of Wrestling (On PS2 and Original Xbox) is probably out of the question... but even some made up "look alike" arena's, as long as they're adding some flair to it, then great.
I go back and play that game to this day, due to the fact that not only does it have the greatest roster to ever grace a videogame, but because of the specific venues. It's amazing seeing the different layouts, crowds, the arena specific entrance ramps, etc. It just adds a whole lot more.
Give us the option to choose the arena, and then choose what "Show" is occurring that night, and change the mats/aprons/etc accordingly.
If you need to keep PPV's in the same arena, (due to the layout of the PPV props, etc) make sure they're not in the same arena as the other PPV's. Make each PPV arena PPV specific.
Get rid of that "stale" feeling. This game needs a breath of fresh air. I don't care if you use some smaller arena's, throw in a few small "gym type" arenas so those guys who do e-feds or whatever can throw their Indy wrestler's in these type of venues.
I haven't gotten too far into the game right now, but that's one of the things that is killing me right now. KEEP the WCW Nitro Arena, but make it more specific. The Nitro Announce booth was up near the ramp. Just small attention to detail could help this series tremendously. Add more WCW specific PPV's. Starrcade, Halloween Havoc, Fall Brawl/War Games, etc.
While I'm at it, new unique match types, make it happen:
-War Games (2 Teams of 4 or 6, new team member enters every minute ala Royal Rumble, until all team members are in the cage, then it's elimination style battle until only one team remains. The catch? Two rings, under one massive cage.)
Control scheme needs an overhaul. I don't have time to elaborate on it at the moment, but I'll touch on it soon.
Entrances: Add it to where we can add items to our wrestlers entrances. If I want Sting to be able to pack a bat out in his hand, let me be able to do it. It's not that hard. They used to have this in old games (RAW 1 & 2 on Xbox), adding things to hold.
Small things like that, which have been in last gen games, that haven't seen their way to next gen.
C'mon guys. Post your Thoughts and Let's get some good suggestions to help turn this franchise around.
"It's still real to me dammit..."
