I don't have anything against them doing a storyline like that. It's the frequency in which it happens. If done properly it's great. If done for sake of doing it because they have a heel not from USA and don't know what else to do, then it's annoying.

Ones like Hart Foundation, Un-Americans, Hassan, Rusev for first little bit(until WM vs Cena), were all good. But most just fall in line with WWEs tiresome predictable storylines where you know who's winning the feud before it happens.

Will WWE find some way to insert Cena into main event? Look at ppv poster they're now using. It has all 4 from the fatal 4 way, both women's match competitors, jinder, Nakamura and Cena.

So might that be a sign of him somehow making it into the WWE title picture? Maybe Jinder injures Nakamura on SD, Bryan names Cena the new #1 contender, Nakamura returns before SS and we get triple threat?

Sure, it's possible. There's enough time for them to rewrite it however they want.

But sometimes the obvious answer is just that it's John Cena and he goes on the poster because he's John Cena.
