EA is finally making a relevant change to the core offline experience. I have high hopes for the new journey mode and while still changes need to be made to manager mode, FUT combined with the Journey give us an online and an offline experience that are both worth the consumer's time. Now if only they could make an accurate MLS experience.

Hopefully, the new engine will improve gameplay. EA's path to success is getting exclusive rights to the most important leagues (Premier, Bundesliga and now La Liga). Despite this, I prefer PES but am not close-minded if one game is better than the other. Last year, I bought FIFA 16 and PES 16. I still play PES 16 currently but stopped with FIFA 16 almost from the beginning despite having the exclusive rights to Premier, Bundesliga and MLS.

Like the idea of a story mode to Player Career, it was getting stale! Hope the frostbite engine will make it more authentic and that there are more improvements to manager career and gameplay!
