If they can fix hitting issues (too many hits by AI, too few strikes taken and balls swung at) it might get an 8-8.5, otherwise just a 6-7. But I'm positive

Edited: I think even though i have a ps3 i will still get mlb 2k9, and i think it will top mlb o9 the show. i like the cover, but i hate the cover for the show with dustin pedroia, hate red sox

I have a feeling this is going to be the game we have been waiting for. It may not be the show level just yet, but it is moving in a direction that deserves all the hype in the world. I cannot wait until March 3rd.

Edited: Hopefully VC delivers in NBA & NHL 2k fashion and revives a once good franchise

Updated Hype Score to an 8. The game play videos show a huge step in the right direction for the series.
