Last time we ventured into the less known world of the non-BCS by previewing Conference USA. The offenses look to be full of aerial assaults in C-USA, but the defense of a team like UCF may end up being the difference.
We don’t want to shock the system too much so we won’t dive straight back into the BCS waters. Instead, we’ll take a look at what will be the ultimate fringe-BCS conference come 2011.
The Mountain West, no doubt, will miss the Utah Utes as they depart for the PAC-10 next year; but the addition of Boise State may just mean a rise to prominence in the eyes of the BCS. So for the sake of things to come, enjoy the Mountain West as you know it. Big changes could be in the future.
