HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis MLB 09)
Posted on April 12, 2009 at 02:26 PM.
At the request of some members, I am putting up a set of sliders for the Show that I have been working on. These are for the ps3 only and have been used exclusively on the HOF level. These sliders are weighted slightly against the user. Also, I have been using classic pitching with these.

Nemesis, I hope you don't mind me asking about some slider questions concerning HOF. Are you still playing? There seems to be a real lack of HOF playing this year and I have few folks to bounce things off.

Have you changed these at all? I noticed you have cpu pitch control at -1. I've started at +1 but have moved it to default. It seems HOF is harder than AS this year especially when the cpu pitch confidence meter is maxed.

When maxed, the game can get intense not to the point that I don't enjoy it but to the point where I literally will get nothing to hit or make contact.

Are you finding control ay -1 to be satisfying as far as getting a good balance between the cpu hitting the corners and pitching to contact? (PCI)

As a predominantly swing only player, you really feel the difference when timing is off and "X" only. Therefore the constant barrage of perfectly thrown corners and borderline balls/strikes becomes rather annoying but perhaps realistic.

So are you seeing some low hit games as well as some blow outs? Do the better pitches still dominate? Or are you seeing too many "meat" pitches.

I think default play well until the confidence gets maxed, then things start to unravel a bit for me.

Thanks for all your efforts with the game
