Major League Baseball 2K8: Unlockable Teams

IGN has posted a list of unlockable teams for Major League Baseball 2K8.
"It delivers a healthy offering of the best and brightest legends that are still in the game today as well as ten years worth of the best and brightest rookie classes."

I like the idea of having those different teams. Some of those signature styles look pretty good and BJ Ryan looked pretty good too.

Page 6: Last line says, "Check back in the coming days as we'll be revealing one of the new features in MLB 2K8. Stay tuned..." Please tell me this isn't the baseball card thing. We've gotten plenty of info on this.

What could that mean? Hopefully the hitting engine.
We haven't seen much on that.

Looks like 3D, volumetric grass is back in with the new screenies. I wonder if this is from a more recent/final build.

It would explain that. Think about it.

2k8- career mode. an alright first try. probably some bugs as you would expect with a first try.

2k9- career mode. a better adaptation. plus the fact that its the 3rd year of the three year plan. So it's going to be awesome.

KushGamer has stated that there is no career type mode for 2K8, said they are leaving that to The Bigs. He also said on MANY occasions that there is no secret or hidden mode in the game.

It is the card feature. IGN is the only site that hasn't talked about it yet... Booooo!

I don't think they are offering any cheats, so prepare yourself for jumping threw hoops...Sucks for me cause I'm not going to play on line...


Otherwise I'm very excited about the legends they are offering...

guys like Ted Williams, Dom DiMaggio, and Johnny Pesky...
