Okay, I am officially ridiculously pumped for this game now.....

In a weird way, I dig the 'fake' portraits. I wish all player photos were based on the player models. That way, pics would never have old hats.. and the look of the game would be more consistent.

These new screenies are nice!

If those are the only you've ever heard of, you need a history lesson my friend.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe those guys in that lineup are not all 1st ballot HOF'ers but they were stars of their positions for many years. I'm just wondering if Evans is Dwight Evans or Darrell Evans lol

I am really pumped that the "legends" are from a more modern era. Nothing against the Mick and the Babe, its just gonna be cool to play with guys I watched when I was a kid.

Go to baseballreference.com now.

Read one of the Baseball Abstracts by Bill James.

Do something because I want to cry for you.

Thats alright dude, Some of the others are Albert (don't call me Joey) Belle, Andre Dawson, Derren Daulton, Allen Trammel. Dwight Evans. Do a Wikki on them they actually all have some good stories. They were pretty much the cream of the crop for their time as well.

only thing i wish they would add to the game..

i wish they would add "classic teams" such as 1927 Yankees, 1985 Royals, 1905 Cubs, 1998 Yankees, 1995 Indians, etc. Even if they did like Madden did/does with its classic teams... just make all the names fake and let us go through and edit the names

THEN i would be totally and completely stoked..
not to say i'm not pretty stoked already

Indians and terrorized pitchers for many years.

Albert Belle played the majority of his career with the Indians. Then went on to Chicago, and Baltimore. He was the first player to ever hit 50hr and 50 doubles in a season.

lol no biggie, He was the guy who basically struck fear in the hearts of pitchers in the mid-late 90s, and he completely owned Troy Percival and Todd Jones.

1985 royals? they won because the ump blew the call at first.

Cardinals should have 11 rings but this isn't the forum for that.......
