The official NBA Live 09 website has just gone online. The cover athlete will be revealed on June 25th. There are 2 blogs on the site as well.

Most of it is info already released.

The coverboy will be released on the 25th. It has a silhouette that looks exactly like Brandon Roy.

Nope it will be Ray Allen or Kobe Bryant...Look at the main photo on the site! That is a sick in game shot of Kobe and Ray.

But, Be a Pro mode, I want more info on that. Game sounds great. I want game footage.

The big white silhouette on the cover athlete page is definitely Ray Allen. I'm like 99.9% sure thats his silhouette. Or theres a 0.1% chance thats its someone else lol. But seriously thats a Ray Allen silhouette.

The box image is Gilbert Arenas, and the other one isn't that picture of Roy because his hand is across his stomach running down court.

They're only using them because they were the team in the championship.

Who was one of the players they spotlighted in their early release pictures aside from anyone on the Lakers/Celtics?

for those who dont know kevin garnett was named for the cover of 2k9 so hes checked off the list i think its going to be deron williams or roy... they arent going to use someone who has already been on covers before like chris paul and kobe
