Facebreaker Impressions (Pasta Padre)

Pasta Padre has posted his impressions of Facebreaker.

	"Possibly the biggest issue I�ve run into that I stated after playing the demo as well is that the action is so fast and intense that my hand severely cramps up. I literally can�t play more than one or two fights without taking a break. I put that on the style of the game which really doesn�t allow for any time to naturally relax."

Honestly, has a game this bad ever had this much attention? I don't think this game is even close of being on anyones radar here.

The gameplay is simply to manic and crazy to enjoy it.
And I know it's supposed to be an over-the-top boxing experience but it gives you so little control over what you want to do, it degrades into a button-mashing mess.

The CPU cheats as well and can lead to some very frustrating moments.
It's probably a good rental if you and some buddies wanted to pick up a box of beer, create fighters in your likeness and then go at it.
But compared to other fighting games (which this is as it's not really a boxing title) it's very shallow and much too fast to appreciate any kind of strategy.

Parrying can lead to some ebb-and-flow to multiplayer games, but against the CPU it's basically 'let the fists fly' and hope to knock him down, or stun him before you get nailed.
