I liked the Joe Buck announcing...wish they could have actually had him in the game.

Yeah I prefer somthing that would get me pumped up for a game. Like the 08 intro or the Ludacris intro from several years back. Those never got old.

This intro will end up being skipped every time. Nice story, but doesn't really put me in the mood to play football.

Nice intro...the music was greatness...

I would give 08 props, but since its the worst madden game ever, the intro can't get any love from me.

Sooooooo, 08 had the best intro, but it was arguably the worst game of the franchise?

Kinda shows what the priortites were back then...

I'd argue that the first iteration on the 360 (06?) was the least impressive Madden game I've played. I actually wasn't remotely impressed by any next-gen Madden game until the 08 version and didn't get a 360 until I saw that that version was a passable and reasonably well-implemented football game.

Yep, Madden 08 was the first decent Madden on the next-gen consoles. Madden 09 was a sign to me that the franchise was in the right direction heading into Madden 10.

Madden 08 was still terrible though.

Seriously....meh.

I'm all for the concept of the opening movie - but did they have to pick a track from the NFL Films library that sounds like gay pirate music?

Pretty cool idea and visuals. The script reminds me of NBA promos, the shots remind me of football, that music reminds me of Jack Sparrow with Syphilis. Thank goodness for the X Button.

That video was more intense than any Madden video game has ever been. That's football.

That did not do it for me but it is something that will be skipped anyway. I definitely like the 08 type intros better. I want intense hard hitting action to get me pumped to play football. I can see those that loved it, it is just okay to me.

Not even close .....06 on 360 was the worst by far.
