now simballer got on my case when i said the shaq pic looks like nba 2k9.5, and low and behold it does! im not an EA or 2k guy(check my gamertag and you will see i buyboth games every year), but i call a spade a spade!

Adding the career mode, and the additions to gameplay are great, but not even touching the graphics.......?

Like i said as of right now, this is looking like NBA 2K9.75!

Less improvements on the graphics = more improvements on the gameplay and fearutes. As simple as that.

Me? I prefer the gameplay and features.

i'm the same,i have both games from every year since bulls Vs Blazers(EA) and 2k on dreamcast..

i'm really not seeing any difference in the graphics and to be honest i haven't since 2k6/7

graphics are very dated IMO

LMAO Im not gon lie, I like the graphics and all but why does Kobe look like the Kevin Garnett from 2k9 LoL.

I know its still early and they probably havent gotten Kobe's likeness yet but I just thought it was pretty funny to se KG in a Lakers Jersey.

thats not true at all, theres an art team for the graphics and a separate team for gameplay

but the thing is, since 2k added so much this year the art team had less time to focus on the graphics
-d league
-summer league
-revamped CAP
and the usual interface updates, touching up of players/jerseys/arenas, rookie class etc...

hhey hey hey at least they captured his neck wrinkles

and i dont get how 2k's depth of view works....the guy farthest away from the camera is picture perfect but the guys closer are blurred out....

maybe 2k used photoshop to blur out artest and gasol..

Gamespot is infamous for releasing very low resolution screenshots. Remember this.

So true, but we all have our hang ups. I'm sure we can all go through our post history and find some bs we complained about at the time.

Well, I've gotta say that every player shown so far (Gasol, Bryant, Carter, Rose, Artest, Fisher and Wade) actually all look better than last year's edition IMO. The players will never have a perfect likeness, after all there is the issue of the "uncanny valley." Yet, I still think the visuals look better, peep higher-res kicks and warm-ups, and these are only WIP shots.
