Special guests Pastapadre, GameSpot Senior Editor Brian "Mechberg" Ekberg, and Konsole Kingz CEO CJ "KingSoul" Peters will be giving their impressions about Madden 10, along with celebrity gamer Camp Lo's Sonny Cheeba stopping by to talk with us about his love for Madden and gaming in general, and GetYourTournament.com's Glen Cravens (The Game II) giving his take on the EA Sports Challenge Series hosted by MLG, and other recent developments in the Madden tournament scene. lol I couldn't believe that after that post about a joint partnership people still were like "Its being released tomorrow!". They basically told us exactly what it was. Like you though, I'm hoping I'm wrong.

OK here it is:

The first patch and roster update will be available on release day. Possibly even the broadcast camera. In addition they will announce that more games have been pre ordered for madden 10 then any other madden game in history. They will announce how many millions they will make in one day on Friday.

A "major announcement" for a fansite podcast could be anything. I doubt it's anything that major; 95% of us probably won't care. I think it being information about the patch is probably about as exciting as it will be. I highly doubt they're pushing up the release date. Why would they announce it over a podcast? Seems like a strange venue to express it.

Just thought of another possible "major announcement" : Online ranked games got pushed up to 7 minutes instead of 5! Of course, most of us already know that, but for someone who doesn't it might be a major announcement. I bet that's probably it.

The PS3 slim would be considered huge industry news and no way in hell would it be announced via a fansite.

Its going to be something related strictly to Madden. Its not going to be anything earth shattering.

This game will NOT be out early. I have seen fFIVE ADS IN THE LAST HOUR advertising Madden 10 release on the 14th. I suspect it's a patch available on the date of the release.

Nothing like false advertising to try to drive people to your show.

Talk about an a-hole move. He should be ashamed of themselves, and everyone listening (I'm not) should tune out because of it. Screw them.

Apparently there was none. I expected some minor announcement nobody cared about, but I guess we didn't even get that.

Just chill out for a sec guys. According to the site, there's still an hour and 45 minutes left in the show, so they probably haven't said anything about it yet. Expect the surprise at the end of the show probably.

Too bad my laptop's sound is broken, or else I would listen
