We have just captured the player faces of the starting 5, from every NBA team in NBA 2K10.

Who looks good? Who looks bad? Should be some interesting talk. No screenshot requests!

DWill and Ray allen got snubbed big time this year, they both looked way better in 2k9. But i have to admit for the most part i could recognize the players on sight some are still pretty off or just look awkward.

I have a feeling people will be more forgiving with these models once they see them in motion. I don't think screen shots can do this game as much justice as they did previous years where the emotion wasn't present.

You also don't get a good sense for the hi res textures here, be patient people!

They got him down for sure. Maybe some minor changes that would benefit his facial map but overall, they even have his "duh" look going...

I was really thinking of changing my pre-order from Live back to 2k for another year, but I am not sure I can play 2k.I would be making plays with a star and it would just look like some random dude with his jersey on...How can you botch this many stars?Who thought Melo looked good? If I was David Lee or Varejao I'd be suing...the problem starts with what appears to be 2k placing every face over the exact same chin/lips/mouth template.Some fit it well, some just do not

What makes it worse is despite how bad some are, some are just spot on perfect, like Agent Zero.Why couldn't we be more consistent across the board? Having player likenesses way off affects the immersion factor of the game

They did good on a nice amount of faces, but they dropped the ball hard on quite a bit of people. Overall it's a decently good job, I can live with some of the bad faces except ray allen, Carmelo, and David Lee those where just bad. Kobe was okay his in-game pic there doesn't look as good as those pics we saw a week or so back.

But how is the gameplay? Does it feel like 2k9? Because if it does I'm not buying a game to look at player faces.
