Xbox 360 Achievments have posted the Tecmo Bowl Throwback achievements. Here are just a few of them.

So from what I get, the teams will be based on fake teams. There will be a Dallas team, but not Cowboys, right? Also, the ratings are based on the SNES version? So a team like San Francisco and Buffalo will be the good teams?

Wow. An achievement for completing a pass. Really?

They could have done so much better. Where's the throw a pass 80 yards in the air achievement, or the zig zag at least 4 times in one run achievement?

I want "Break single-game rushing record on one rush" by doing the Bo Jackson/Barry Sanders run back and forth from goal line to goal line a couple times run.

I highly doubt it. The original TSB games just got difficult as you won more games in season more. I think I read an interview that said that method still exists. This means you'll get your best competition out of online games by far. The CPU barely exists.
