Wow! That's pretty impressive. Very nicely done.

Man I can't get over that mid air collision. It just looked so real and natural! Also after the collision for a split second you can tell the defender was about to brace for impact while he was in the air. They shown a video a long time ago of a ball carrier trying to hurdle a defender and when the defender clipped him he pulled the ball into his chest to protect it and put his arm out to keep his head from smacking the ground.

Just when you think the physics of this game couldn't impress you any more than it already did, it does it again.

I'm thinking that is just for selecting plays, hiking the ball, etc.

Not sure though.

I know but, I figured the action button was called that just for pre-snap.

Great video. I love the controls. I hope the playbooks are decent.

So what are we saying, real simulation doesn't matter? Not hatin' on EA, but they are not real Sim. Don't get me wrong madden is alright, but just doesn't play real. It's better each year but hasn't yet passed NFL2K5. EA offer you every year improvements to the game and calls new,but the reality is nothing new because 2K already had it back then. I say give me real simulation any day over what we have been getting. Please 2K make another football game and show EA how it's done. Big shot out to Backbreaker, looks yall are in the house!

Keep the madden stuff out of here, only warning.

a couple ppl said that when the QB throws the ball its get to the receivers too fast
i dont understand that and i dont see it like those ppl do.

ok so i'm not a wiz with vids or have a youtube account but i searched for a deep pass by one of my fav young QB aaron rogers and watch him throw a 50-60 yd td pass. the ball stay in the air for about 3 to 4 seconds and i compare it to the deep pass in BB. the QB in BB throw the ball about 40-60 i cant tell bcuz the pass is not completed but the ball is in the air for 3 seconds in the vid and looks like it gonna take another half a second to complete. thats simulation to me

here's the two vids.( the deep throw in the BB vids starts at 00:37)

Controls for passing looks nice and different. It will take some time to get use to. But loks fun interesting. Can't wait to try it out in the demo.

Ever since I first heard about the selecting of a receiver with the right joystick by going side to side with it, I've been skeptical of how it will pan out. It will be pretty easy while scrambling or what have u to either over shoot or just not get that extra flick left or right to get the ball to who u want to pass to especially in the heat of the moment. I wonder if they have a speed setting for the right joystick. Will be interesting to see how this works out.

I think your right, the ball was thrown pretty realistically. Takes about 3-4 seconds. Here's a classic example and the ball is probably in the air the same amount of time and it traveled 60 yards.

PS I'm glad Nolan didn't want Rodgers. : )

I think It would have taken 5 seconds for the ball to possibly be completed at 37 secs in the BB video.

Also are you talking about the time it takes when the ball is released from the QB's hand until it reaches the receiver's hands? There is no accurate answer because, It cuts off but, imo It would be between a late 4 or early 5 seconds. It hung up there pretty good.

Or....

Are you talking about the ball once it gets to the highest point in a lob?

On that 62 yarder you said, the ball is in the air for 2 seconds but, it takes almost 2 seconds just for it to reach It's highest point and then come down.
