NBA 2K11 Cover Athlete Michael Jordan, Confirmed

It looks like the rumors were true. Michael Jordan is your cover athlete for NBA 2K11.

Its about time he is on a cover of a game. It took this long but we accomplished. I watched every game of this man and to have him in a game (not created up) and his moves............ man this is about to be the @#%$!!!!! Can't wait. Going to buy my copy this weekend now that I'm thinking about it. Like youngfaze01 said, I hope they have his shoes in the game. Would be nice to have all of them. Will see....................

People would be all over that. In this time where you can get night vision goggles with MW2, why not have a pair of his shoes in a game pack. That would be so nice.

Definitely didn't do it. That is a great cover made by Cyclone, so please give him all the props.

And for those of you saying it's not 1996 or give other players a shot at the cover...it's just a cover for next year guys. Chill out. I respect the hell out of Magic Johnson yet he was never one of my favorite players--but I think a Magic cover would be great, just like a Jordan cover. Players today can't carry MJ's jockstrap so it's ok for the man to have a cover. I didn't watch Jordan on ESPN classic...I'm 33 and grew up watching the man live on tv and once in person.

That shoe idea is genius, but just think how crazy the release would be with all the sneakerheads that would try and get the collector's edition for the kicks....especially if the shoes that were included were some XI's....

Well...2K need to revamp the engine and make the game run faster. That'll improve the game....i want the speed of 2K7 back...that is the ONLY way to make the game run at realistic speed. Ever since 2K7....all other versions have been out whacked......they play too slow for my taste. Get rid of momentum bullshyt.
