This stats are based on how the players performed last year and Smith didnt perform that well.....Smith is a Good WR dont get me wrong..but last year he wasnt a top 10 WR like Rice,Jackson or Austin.

I'm pretty much neutral as far as rooting for the Pats, but... I've read many articles about the design of the offense that the Pats use to make the most out of Welkers skill set. I'm not trying to say that he's not great, but a lot of his production comes from game planning and a great job of offensive play calling to create mismatches for Welker from the slot. Take away Randy Moss's threat on the outside, and Welker's production would probably take a very noticeable hit.

As far as your G - Men go.... I'm looking forward to seeing how much your giant of a WR Barden will step up with the injury to Hixon. Your Giants will literally have the biggest HB and WR in the league ! ... lol.

You make alot of great points about Welker and the Pats... I dont think he would catch 120+ balls in S.F., but The Pats make use of him to bring out the best in him. As far as my GMen they have some Wideouts they may surprise alot of people this year, I see Nicks, and Barden being on the Madden Roster Update everyweek... in a good way

Anquan Boldin should not be there.

No reason for Ochocinco to crack that list.

I wasnt sayin Larry should be number 1 Andre's a beast.. I'm sayin Larry is not the second best reciever in the league..

I hate when people argue about overalls. They mean nothing to me. I only care about the actual ratings. All of Greg Jenning's ratings could be better than Welker's, but Welker has the better overall because he has a high awareness rating.

P.S.- Not calling anyone out I was just using that as an example.

Randy Moss needs to come down about 2 points imo

AJ at numero uno - I love it.

Are you kidding me???

That is some really crappy logic. So you're saying Welker and Steve Smith (NYG) are the 2 best WRs in the league?

Jennings is better than White, DeSean Jackson, and Welker.

# 37 Exonerated @ 06/22/10 02:28 AM
Ratings are terrible. 98 and 97's?

Way way too high.

Highest receiver shud be about 93 overall.

Ratings need to be stretched further.

# 38 MrSkagTrendy @ 06/22/10 02:50 AM
There should be nothing near 99 - it implies it's impossible for a player to get any better..ratings need to go down ala Fifa

# 39 MrSkagTrendy @ 06/22/10 02:51 AM
And maaan when is calvin gonna get some love?!

# 40 Dramaking @ 06/22/10 02:57 AM
Larry not #2 receiver him and AJ are basically equal.
