Loving the pre race presentation. Nearly every raceing game fails in this area. Usually you are just chucked straight in the car. With NASCAR 2011 it's good to see some pre race build up.

Is there a confirmed release date for Europe yet?

I wonder how the doing your own paint scheme will be. Will it be like the last nascar game by ea where you downloaded a template and painted it in photoshop then uploaded it to a data base for everyone to get it and see or will it be an in game paint program? If it's the first I will use the Superman scheme I drive in iRacing here is a look at it.

Unless I misunderstood, it sounds like in order to play as yourself in career mode, you have to re-name a current driver. Is that correct? In other words, you wouldn't start from scratch?

Two things that intrerest me even more in this game........

Multiplayer career mode (listed in the menu)

and apparently commentary (commentators scrolling at bottom during pre race presentation)

Thanks for bringing those to my attention. I completely missed those when I watched the video. Commentary will be a nice touch. The multiplayer is intriguing. Whether this is online or offline with split screen we will have to see.

No European release sadly, but it is region free so we can import it.

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but looking at the FAQ on the EUTECHNYX forums it looks like the commentary is only for the race introductions.
