I noticed that when I was watching the trailer. Tackles look awesome so far, let's just hope we can do multiple hit tackles with this new engine. I think we may find out this Thursday.

They said momentum based not physic based. So I don't expect weight will make a difference.

Last year they supposedly had added momentum to the game, yet mass didn't matter so you never know. We can only hope.

That was momentum in a different context... The momentum in Madden/NCAA 11 is better described as Locomotion Inertia... i.e. you can't simply make a 90 degree change of direction without losing speed. That momentum wasn't related to hitting, only running.

# 13 COACH WEBB @ 04/19/11 10:05 PM
If you don't preorder it, I wonder what must be done in order to get these unis?

# 14 Zasnow @ 04/19/11 10:12 PM
I'd say dlc.

# 15 sportzbro @ 04/19/11 10:12 PM
So are they forcing me into pre-ordering to get unis that should just be in the game already, or will I have an option to download them (for free, like they should be) at a later date?

If EA wrote this, that's not an accident.

# 17 SteelerSpartan @ 04/19/11 10:15 PM
they better not start charging money for Alt Uniforms

# 18 toine2983 @ 04/19/11 11:08 PM
Crap, why couldn't EA just let us unlock the unis by playing the demo like last year?

Oh well just have to wait a bit to get them because I'm sure they'll be DLC.

I never understood why height/weight SHOULD matter. That's what strength + jumping should have impacted IMO. Height already matters as far as receiving/DB play.

Weight should matter because in real life there's no way a guy that weighs 160 pounds can break a solid tackle from a 300 pounder.
