UMPIRE! finally!

although my one negative point, is that this must kill the battery extremely quickly, and you would need to charge it a ton no?

There answers my questions about if umpires are finally on the PSP(Vita) after I last played it in 07

Yeah, that just sold a Vita. I imagine given the poor sales numbers in Japan, Sony leaned on The Show's team quite a bit to make a quality launch title. Way to go SCEA, you just got $100 of my money.

That's the Pitcher camera angle. It looks about the same on the PS3.

The one that people use typically is the Outfield camera angle when pitching from behind the pitcher.

before i buy it, how much will MLB12 drain the battery? will i need to be tied to a outlet?

Don't know about MLB12 specifically (I doubt it's different from any other Vita game in terms of battery use), but I linked to this article a while back when the question came up:

3 hours 47 minutes on full brightness. So....longer than that if you use a lower brightness setting.

Perfect - just enough for one game!

Looks great, I am still undecided on a Vita right away because I feel there may be a price drop later this year or deals for the holidays.

LOL...maybe if they can pull Steve Trachsel out of retirement for this game.

On a related note...I did read in Freezetime's thread that the Vita version has some kind of fast play that's always on...hoping that's not the case. I understand why you'd speed up the game for the portable, it'd just be nice to have the option to not do it while it's plugged in and not losing power.

Oh well, more reason to get both versions I guess (not that I was planning on abandoning the PS3 version anyway! ).

I think I want to pull an Eric Cartman and go freeze myself in the snow for the next 7 weeks. Just have to avoid the overshooting it by hundreds of years part.

Can't wait to get this in hand. February is going to put a strain on my wallet.
