That sounds right for Davis, same way I have him rated. His defensive ratings have to be serious.

Well since I consider Love the best power forward in the game right now -- Dirk seems to have slipped and Duncan plays more center than power forward nowadays -- this means no power forward will be rated 90 or above... interesting.

80 for Davis is cool -- I'm sure he'll get '80 overall' aka decent stats playing with NO this year.

Pippen a 92? Are you all deliberately trying to handicap the Dream Team so the 2012 team can have a chance?

He needs to be happy hes a 92...pippen was good but lets not act like he would be a top 5 player amongst lebron/kobe/durant...i woulda gave him a 89-90 at most..they seem to overate players just because they played "back then" and have a legacy. I rather them be realistic in comparison to the talent of todays superstars. Pippen was allstar...not a superstar.

what the hell were you expecting ? It's not like he was dominant. He was a great #2 option.

The highest Pippen was ever rated on a classic team was a 92 last year correct? So I'm ok with that.

AD with an 80 is nice for him. I'm a bit surprised he got that his first year but he should put up great stats in NO as long as ball hog boy passes the star the ball and does not jack up tons of stupid shots like he did in college.

That's too high for Love, no post game, no mid range, average athleticism and defender... He shouldn't be rated too much higher than Aldridge or Dirk

A 92 Pippen was easily just as good as a 2012 Kobe, and much much MUCH better than a 2012 Carmelo.

Really? I think you need a refresher on pippens CAREER... www.nba.com ...check his stats over his career....tell me if those are superstar stats.

Pippen wasnt a top 5 player in his era..he wasnt at top 10 player in his era...

Pippen was good but he was never a superstar..i watched his whole career...people let nostalgia overrate players of yester year.

Pippen was nowhere near the scorer melo or kobe is...but he was a better defender than both. Better passer as well...but he was NOWHERE near the scorer bron/durant/melo are. His career average is like 17 or 18 points per game if im not mistaken..probably lower than that.

16 points...6 rebounds...5 assists...and he should be a 92? Would that ride for a player in todays league at 92 rating?

Huh?

7x allstar games
3x nba 1st team
2x nba 2nd team
2x nba 3rd team
8x nba all defensive team

Sure , he wasn't a superstar, just an average player

/facepalm

Since when are the ratings decided by ppg , rpg and assists?

Are you kidding me? You think they blindly just make uo a rating without taking their season stats into consideration? Cmon man.

Why do you think kobe rating went down and melos went up?

Are you serious? So you think he averaged over 20+ points two seasons in a row with what? Just a 3 ball? He is above average all over the floor

Best technical rebounder in the game (D12 still has him beat, but only due to his size advantage), best non-specialist 3PT shooting big man (sorry, Dirk), massively underrated clutch factor, averaged 4.1 ORBs last year to go along with 26 PPG and 13.3 RPG, and to finish my pillage of his player card on ESPN, he had a pretty damn good PER over 25 for last season.

Players we know (so far) rated 90+ with lower PERs: Carmelo Anthony & Kobe Bryant (<22), Rajon Rondo (<18), and even Scottie Pippen was under 22 PER in 1992 but we all just found out he's rated a 92 in the game.

Haters gonna hate. Love deserves his 89 and no less.

Makes sense.

Quick and honest question then, what does Kevin Love have over LaMarcus Aldridge to justify a probably 7 point rating difference?

Is Love a better defender? A more polished offensive player? Faster? More athletic? better post player?

I can only count 3pt shoot, ft and rebounding/hustle
