Let some fans of other teams get some shine man.

How many classic Lakers/Bulls/Celtics teams can you have?

Let's spread it around a little bit.

Sidenote: watch some YouTube games of young VC from 99 to 2003. Maybe you forgot what he was doing during that time......just saying.....

I still have 2k3 and when I was playing a game, i noticed Ben Wallace's hair change from cornrows to an afro. I still wonder why 2k still doesn't have this feature where players change hair.

I wonder what AI's SIT rating will be? I would give him a 90 at least since he was so fearless at attacking the basket.

If you want Carter so much, why not the Nets team with Kidd, Jefferson and Mutombo?

EDIT: Wait, Mutombo wasn't on that team. Mourning was

Anybody else think that screenshot is from 2k11? It doesn't look like 2k12 more less 2k13. I think they just used that to let us know he was in the game, maybe they just signed him.

i hope your right because this looks like the the 36 year old iverson version that walked on the court with the basketbal during the sixers and celticls playoff game this year and not the 2001 25 year old version

Look at the court. It's the old First Union Center, and the Sacramento Kings are on the bench in the background. Neither the Kings or that Arena were available in 2K11. Sorry but it appears to be from 2K13. Maybe 2K can tweak his look before release like they did with Mitch Richmond last year. The early screens showed an elder looking Richmond and the art guys went in and made adjustments before release.

All this ebullience for a player whose career accomplishments and proudest moments would be non-existent had the League referees not forgotten to make carrying calls.

Nice to see Wilt is back--hopefully there is a 1961-62 iteration and Chamberlainesque finger role on command, or lay-up package. Of course Kemp is back, that is exciting as well and I hope 2K has allowed for some Kemp-specific dunked-on scenarios.

Hopefully alternate jerseys will be in full effect for these retro teams.

Not to split hairs, but Mourning barely played for the Nets. He didn't like his role with the squad real early on in the season and he was dealt to the Raptors (who then bought him out). The big man on those mid-00's Nets teams was actually Nenad Krstic, who did a bang up job quite honestly. I like creating those Nets each year, they were definitely one of my favorites.

One way or another, Allen Iverson was a very prominent player. I never found him particularly efficient, nor was I a huge fan, but I know the game goes beyond PER ratings and questionable ball-handling tactics. I'm excited to have him and his '01 76ers squad on board. Now folks can experience what I have while using created '01 Sixers over the years. I'll be surprised if I don't see at least one thread popping up stating, "HOW DID THE '01 SIXERS MAKE THE NBA FINALS!?"

Regarding Chamberlain, you're right on the money with the need for a Wilt finger roll. That's be superb. Also, I'm hoping Kemp has access to early 90's uniforms.
