Ready to be the First Overall Draft Pick in NBA 2K13?

New this year, you can be selected as the #1 overall draft pick in NBA 2K13. Check out Ronnie2K's MyPlayer in MyCareer mode, he was drafted 13th with an overall rating of 78.

	New to MyCAREER- Ronnie2K's MyPLAYER was drafted to the Phoenix Suns in NBA 2K13's MyCAREER mode. He was disappointed that he wasn�t drafted #1 overall which is possible for the first time ever in NBA 2K13. Though, his choice in suits makes it obvious that no one has better style than him!

not a fan of being a 78 right off the bat. i enjoyed that past iterations where building up my attributes was most of the struggle.

I sure hope that his high rookie rating means it will be much harder to progress to a legendary rating. However, given that we already know Ronnie is a 99 overall in his 4th year, it seems like much of the same. I really wish the player progression was more challenging so that it really felt like an achievement to become rated over 90 overall.

13th pick with a pretty high overall at 78.

Would be cool if there were storylines that put you at different spots on the draft board (maybe even undrafted), each with their own career goals and method of progression.

I'm still hoping there's a secret handshake option. Or at least a hug button. Would work well with Kinect integration. "I want to hug David Stern." Bam. Hug. Done.

WTF I think you can still hack myplayers he said in the video about myplayers that he was in his 4th year and 99 overall yet clearly in this screenshot he is 18 years old and 78 overall either he hacked or its super easy to get to 99 this year.

Well, it seems you can either buy more suits later on, or design new ones.

Yup. Or being able to import a My Player from the previous title and start from the season that you left off on. The only issue would be rosters.

The company has the tools to do whatever they want with their game. He might have put Ronnie at a 99 rating just to try out some things or to show us something. They made it so that he was just 19 at year four to show us something specific.

We should be able to do this too. As well as go undrafted and sign with a team as a FA or go to the D-League

Wat MyPlayer NEEDS is the option of the use of custom rules and SLIDERS!! That is what ncaa football 13 does if you are worried about leaderboard cheaters, it just disqulaifes you from the offical leaderboards and LETS YOU USE CUSTOM RULES AND SLIDERS!! If you think that you 2k do not or ever did this in your games in My Player look at MLB 2K12 you DID ALLOW THIS in THAT GAME, WHY NOT NBA2K ?!?!
