NBA 2K13 News Post

A couple of days ago, 2K Sports updated the NBA 2K13 courts for the Lakers, Suns and Thunder.

Today they have released updated court floors for the Spurs, Clippers and Bobcats. More updates are on the way.

Spurs looks miles better. Bobcats is meh, and Clippers is more or less the same. Anyway, good work 2K.

Great job on these 2k!

So that was the new content the game told me about when I wanted to go play online but didn't specify what it was. This is great since my MyPlayer was traded to San Antonio

Kudos to 2K for these updates. One minor hiccup though... the Clippers court does not look like that. The only difference between the Clippers court now and what 2K had previously is the color of the blue. The Clippers actually still have the lines in the paint.

I was looking at the game vs the real clipps court the other night

2k's old court was too dark.. nice touch

More updates on the way?

Look, these are great, fantastic even.
However, 2k please supply us with another roster update soon.

Of course! They have to make that Lakers' line white instead of purple or the entire Laker bandwagon is going to riot at 2k's headquarters

I was in game when these dropped -- updating more courts -- I dig that!

What do you think the chances are that they'll update some players hairstyles? Norris Cole and Iman Shumpert with flat tops would be a nice touch. And Andrew Bynum's afro

Hope they get the cavs new design in!

Love it. I'm a big Bobcats fan, so it's nice to them get some love. Here's to hoping they come out with more updates other than courts (which are still great btw).

Models need work, accessories need work, need to get custom colors for shoes back, and a home/away option. Then, I'll be set.

IDK if they can, but if they can somehow update CAP, that'd be great too (or at least fix it for 2K14).

Another one for 2K to add into the game...

The Cavs have just unveiled their new court

Yeah was about to post the Cavs court but isn't the other court design new?

It's really nice to see 2K supporting the game this very much and even weekly without any patches. Kudos to them.

I know this is incredably minor compared to courts (and etc.), but below is a picture of the "OZONE" section of the Amway Center. You can see below the OZONE lettering that there are two huge LED columns. During games those things are bright and changing colors and effects and are instant attention grabbers. Sometime down the line it would be a cool addition for the NBA 2K series to incorporate those columns into the Amway Center experience within the game. Just my $ .02
(I guess this says a lot about what us Magic fans have to look forward to these days).

Why are like a third of the teams in the NBA changing their courts this year? This is getting crazy. I feel for 2k right now.

I believe you are right, they had just updated a couple season ago.

Posted this in the art thread but here is the diagram for the new Clippers court.

Whats with all the courts now saying the teams website on one side, then the twitter name on the other?

The Thunder didn't change their court this year. It's been changed for a couple years now. 2K just never had it right.
