The Show Live allows you to play any games from the 2013 MLB schedule with the most up-to-date rosters, lineups, and statistics, fed directly from MLB.com. Whether the game is starting in an hour, or was played a month ago, the presentation and commentary in The Show Live is dynamic to the landscape of the MLB on the date the game was scheduled. Relive a player’s 40th Home Run, clinch the pennant for a team that choked it away, or play along with the game you’re watching or listening to. The Show Live is a mode for the truest of MLB fans.
O/T : Awesome picture and haven't seen you before in here.. Let's go Mets( did you see in the video how good our records were for the games shown? Looks like our yearly first half surprises
No it doesn't track stats that way, or you cannot substitute your stats and real-life stats, either way... it's more of a 'see how you did compared to real life' type of deal.
One cool thing about Universal Profile is that you can track your personal stats across the different modes.
The Universal Profile is a great feature. I'm a stats junkie! It would be cool if they tracked how long you played the game, but I doubt that will make the cut.
At 1:29 in the video the Marlins clean up hitter is named Mike Jones, who is Mike Jones does anyone know of him, I haven't heard of the hitter before but I heard of a rapper named Mike Jones who made the song Who... Mike Jones, was this a coincidence or an Easter egg because I googled Mike Jones Marlins and couldn't find any prospect either and it would be pretty funny if it was.
He's one of the devs... not Mike Jones the rapper, but that's his real name lol.
What? I know theres like 5 or 6 Devs in the game. I just cant think of them all right now. Im trying to find the thread from last year that listed them all and the teams theyre on.

We probably don't need all their real names plastered over a message board... sure it may be out there and theoretically nothing bad would happen, but it's polite to keep some things private.

Seriously? Cmon! You guys are freakin paranoid!
They are IN THE GAME! How private is that?!
There's already a thread about it. Not too top secret there!
It's an exhibition mode right now, as opposed to a MLB Live "Season" mode. However, this definitely opens up possibilities for the future!
This is exactly the first thought that came to my mind. Would be cool if one day you could play a full season with real life roster's on a day to day basis and with it tracking your virtual stats. Then throughout the season you could easily compare your season stats to the real season.
Lorne Asuncion was on the Royals.
Ramone Russell was on the Rays.
Greg Batalucco was on the Braves.
Kolbe Launchbaugh was on the Royals
Mike Jones on the Marlins
There was one with the Mariners but I dont remember who
