O.S.

Okay...Finally the time is here!

Thank you everyone for your patience in regards to this year's release.

We had one hitch towards the end....and I (we) are hoping that everything is alright with that one member.

That being said... I have to say that this year's group of editors have put together a tremendous effort with this year's version of the O.S.F.M.

I want to thank each and every member participating on the chart and from the work thread... but there are a couple of guys who I just have to mention, that went above and beyond with their effort and support.

yanksdaniel99 picked up quite a few teams that were vacant as we got into the process. It was a big help with him setting up those clubs.

Throwback and Willard76 went above and beyond to help out with multiple teams to work on faces (Willard on top of rating 2 teams as well) and especially down the homestretch when it was getting very tight

... and last but CERTAINLY not least... RidinDwnKingsley who rated multiple teams... as well as doing ALL the exporting and importing of every player for the set AND testing the set for balance.

Thanks to O.S. as well... Steve for allowing us to use the O.S. name in conjunction with the set and the mods who I'm sure dread when this time of year comes around and they have to keep the peace... and keep the threads moving and productive. They do a tremendous job.

Guys... I can't stress enough how I want to thank each and every guy who participates in the process... not just the guys doing the editing (who do a GREAT JOB)... but also the guys who provide input in the multiple threads.

Every year I am more and more impressed at how well this site works together to make this happen.

If you really think about it... it's a truly impressive process.

On that note... I'm going to ask you to think about how much time and effort these guys put in to making this work... and in doing so, deserve a certain amount of civility and respect when commenting on a particular part of the work. All feedback is welcome... as long as you present it in a civil manner.

That's all any of us ask of this.

Again... thank you for you patience and enjoy the O.S.F.M. 2013 Edition!... and

Enjoy The Show!

M.K.

Wow! Thank goodness for this. There's about as much hype and anticipation for these rosters around the internet than for The Show 13 video game itself. The team does a great service for the community and it's appreciated by far.

Dynasty forum about to pick up something serious in activity now everybody was in the same boat lol

I only contribute with one team and with all the work fletcher did this year, only half a team really. But I gotta admit, the amount of thanks that everyone is sharing makes the effort well worth it.

Knight and Ridin and the crew, thanks for your hard work and letting me participate 3 years running. It's a blast come January when the threads start popping up through March working on these and seeing a great community effort come together. Many props to all involved and to those who spend a few minutes sharing their thanks.

To everyone that participated in this...want to say a big thank you. These take the game to such a different level of enjoyment I can't even describe it. I worked on last years All-Time Classic roster so I know how hard it is to make a roster and you guys do it under such a time crunch and make it so accurate, you all are fantastic.

Question that I hope you can maybe answer, and just answer it once for all of us to understand exactly what these rosters entail and just how much great work was put in: What exactly does this roster version contain? Do all Major & Minor League players have attribute and pitch edits, just the created minor leaguers, or is there still some editing needed? Are the transactions as of opening day? How are injuries to major leaguers treated, are they assigned to Class A?

I only mean to ask for informative purposes as I see other threads that suggest pitch edits and SCEA edits, etc. and if that is the case, just wanted to be aware so I can work on them. Again thank you to all that contributed and making this game so great.

Major league players haven't been touched to my knowledge ratings wise (that comes in a later update). I'm pretty sure the usual method was the injured players being put in class A ball though I don't remember if that is implemented into the initial roster or v2.

Thank you all very much for dedicating so much time and effort into making an already excellent game so much more enjoyable. I've been using the OSFM rosters for the last few years and simply cannot imagine going back to using the default minor league rosters.

The fact that you all work so hard to contribute to the enjoyment of so many like myself says wonderful things about each of you who contributed in any way to this project

Thank you so much! Please take you time in replying, but feel free to PM me with what sort of help you might need in next year's version, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Thanks again!

# 94 Helios12787 @ 04/02/13 11:45 PM
version 2 is usually where the guys finalize the rosters exactly as they are IRL (since due to procrastination from some organizations, a few people working on those teams end up having to "guess" which ppl make which level in the organization).

They also start working on equipment and other miscellaneous things as well for v2. I'm sure there's a ton more they do but that's the big things off the top of my head that I remember from last yaer.

I don't post often either. But it's a testament to the hard work you guys out in that so many people are eager to the point of getting banned for these rosters! I mean, you literally have people who can't enjoy the game fully without your contributions! Be proud of that!

I can't wait to play these tomorrow at 4:30 PM when I get out of class/grad assistabtship. What's 18 more hours?!

Thanks a ton fellas! Great work!

Like to throw out my thanks to all those who made these rosters possible. You guys are great. Thank you.
