Madden NFL 25 News Post

If you can't see the video above, check it out on YouTube.

Madden NFL 25 officially debuted Madden Share, a new feature within the Madden franchise this morning. It's a sort of in-game social network, with the ability to share things like roster files, slider sets, custom playbooks, and more.

The custom playbooks in Madden Share will allow you to mix and match plays from a variety of teams -- and they can be imported into your connected franchise. Every content item uploaded will be able to be rated by users and then sorted by users as well.

The Madden Share feature will be free to use and will be available at launch with Madden NFL 25 on August 27th.

What do you think of Madden share? Will you be using it?

I'm not defending it. Most people have two controllers so theres no cost. Ehh, sorry you cant use the feature but I'm glad I can.

I never touch offline. for those who do , yeah im sure it a very cool thing i guess. But im raising a point for the online league players and commishes to take a good hard look at.

Couldnt someone create a glitch filled playbook on their own before? The only difference is now they can download it.

I dont play lobby games because its full of cheesers IN EVERY GAME. In MLB The Show. NBA2k. Madden. UFC. Fight Night. Thats why I dont play random people. I play people from OS who I know have sim playstyles.

Can we share individual, custom teams or do we have to share a full roster file?

not try not trying to "start drama" , and my laptop dont have any sound. so because it wasnt something they seemed to highlight , i didnt figure sharing videos was a part of it, sorry . booting somone for cheese isnt as easy as some would like to make it sound. if someone knows they can be caught on it , they only use it when they are behind at end of games and need to score. if there is no video footage to prove it , then its not that simple to just boot someone , because any decent commish knows, alot of times, when people lose, they tend to over examine things, or basically try to find something that they think was questionable , that caused them to lose and claim it as cheese, when it may be , or it may not be. this isnt just a black and white issue here.anyone who runs a league knows this .so just because someone calls wolf dont mean it always is.

ok you must have never seen a sim league before people dont run cheese plays becaues when they do they get kicked therefore if someone takes a playbook full of chees plays they will run cheese plays and get kicked if you end up in a league full of cheesers your not in a sim league

just dont let people in that use cheese plays and your fine you act like cheesers can slip through and have nobody notice that they are cheesing

well actually someone couldnt have created a glitch filled playbook before now and used it in their online league. the sharing of these to me , just raises the chances of someone ( especially those in a league who knows they arent good enough to win a superbowl) to start using one of these super cheesebooks without having to do any real work to do it. i mean lets face it , most people who are willing to play cheese, are already lazy in itself, because they wont take the time to try to learn how to play football and how to use situations and schemes to their advantage.so alot of them wouldnt bother creating a playbook to begin with, and now the ones that will will be arming so many more , with the simple click of one button. thus putting those types of books in so many more hands. im just saying i see this as a risky thing. as i do just with custom playbooks in general.but this is putting it in so may more peoples hands , where they dont have to really do anything but download it.just makes it too easy for them.it takes alot of work to create ur own custom book.

Extremely positive move overall for this series. What I hope is that in future editions of the game, they don't scrap this or leave this feature alone --- custom draft classes, custom plays, even individual teams or players could be the next logical step.

for me its a majority thing if two peopple say that a guy they were playing cheesed you boot him if its just one guy who lost you wait for more your making this harder than it is and this is coming from a guy who runs 4 leagues

i doubt draft classes will ever happen if ncaa exists because thats kinda a big FU to them and draft classes consist of well over 300 people

u can share created rosters that have complete draft classes of well over 300+ so I don't see why u wouldn't be able to share the draft classes from ncaa esp if u can import them from ncaa to madden.

So will there be a way to set these playbooks as the default for specific teams....so that it loads up with your custom roster???

Id rather not have to spend time scrolling through 32 extra playbooks to set for the teams every time I want to play a game

The Gameplanning/Strategy and Sliders forums are going to blow up now...

That's for sure.

I'm, honestly, really excited about this - after some time, and some collaboration (similar to the collaborative efforts in naming every NCAA player) this could turn the game into something that keeps people interested for a while. Especially those who play against the CPU, and/or control all 32 teams in Franchise mode.

If the community plays this new share feature right, the results could be huge.

This may have just convinced me to buy...

importing a ton of pre created guys and building a ton of new guys are 2 different things and those are rosters not draft classes ncaa has those in there game so its still a big FU to them to add their own draft class maker

One of my biggest worries about the game is the difficulty in getting fairly accurate draft classes so this would be the feature that I would find most useful. That being said, this would make some people skip NCAA if you could easily do this.I may still buy it because I enjoy the demo but I can see possibly having headaches with generating decent draft classes from NCAA that would make you feel like using Madden's.

Don't know about custom playbooks but sliders and rosters is definitely a plus

This is definitely an awesome feature. There are great roster makers for NCAA football and The Show. Bringing the ability to edit rosters for sim style players here on OS is huge. I know I'll use that feature.

The playbook sharing is also huge in my opinion. Guys who watch a lot of tape on their favorite team can weigh in on how often certain plays are used, which ones aren't in the book, etc. Creating custom playbooks for your team--IN FRANCHISE!!!--is a monster feature.

I really like the idea of being able to custom mold a playbook that takes advantage of MY roster, rather than having to rely on a preset PB from another team. With OAK, I'm for sure going to keep some deep stuff and PA stuff, but I'm going to add more WC concepts for Flynn. As it stands OAK's PB is set up for DMC and a deep thrower, but not for DMC and a short to intermediate guy like Flynn. Control over the content of my playbook is a great addition.
