Ok this pic shows the great difference in current and next gen alot better then the RG3 comparison did, but why no shine in the helmet for current gen it looks horrible in this pic.

Lighting and texture mapping is waaayy better on Next Gen!

It looks great but will generic faces look worse now that the great detail is there?

Geez next gen looks sweet. Best part is the game is nowhere near done, so the difference should be even greater.

The new Vikings helmet has a matte finish which limits the shine coming from the helmet. Also, they are playing inside a dome which also downplays the shine.

You have a good point i forgot that pic was in a dome stadium, but the colors still look very washed out that shouldnt matter in a dome or outside, i never have liked the lighting madden uses in dome stadiums no helmet has shine whether its a matte helmet or not.

Am I only one who thinks next gen the players look like clay?

Ummm, the game is gonna go gold shortly after the current gen releases, the nex gen version is slated for a November release if im not mistaken, they have about 2 1/2 months of dev time left.

But its looks good nonetheless and I hope a demo drops for the nex gen version!

I have to be honest. I'm not as observant as some of you guys are so to me the current gen screenshot of RGIII was very comparable to next gens. These screenshots, however show that next gen is light years better. Look at the details in the helmet and uni!!!

I was mostly talking about the screenshot though. It was released at like the beginning of June so the game probably looks even better now.

Finally got the matte helmet in, but number font is still wrong. Doubting they get it right for release at this point.

My only issue is that the Next-gen shot is outside, while the Current-gen is in a dome (Vikings home colors in the crowd, Vikings play in a dome) The dome lighting on current-gen has always looked exceptionally flat.

That being said, Next-gen graphically does look much more impressive.

Looks like they purposely made the current gen look bad, so that next gen would actually amaze us.

Still disappointed at the next gen crowd

They are all blurred out, how can you even make a judgement on it?

If it was going to blow us away they would use the same action shot on both pics, and the same colors on Uni's and put them in same lighting situations dome v outside..wtf?? When they do that let me know, or hey how about some actual gameplay footage?

Look at this list..http://www.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/Xb..._Launch_Titles

All games except 2k have shown game footage and multiple demos. Why no Madden??
