NBA 2K14 Next-Gen Eco-Motion Engine Video and Blog

PlayStation.Blog has posted a new NBA 2K14 next-gen blog detailing the new Eco-Motion, which brings the NBA experience to life. With Eco-Motion, players will see more crowd reactions, better atmosphere, coaching strategies, real player voices, and emotion of the game.

Not to say that Momentous's trailers aren't amazing(!), but I was really amazed watching this video more than during any other 2K14 video. Wow. I sure hope the difference from current gen will be well-felt and seen.

I liked the emotions on the players faces really impressive for sure. I was a little underwhelmed because I thought they would show us more of how the animations react to one another.

The talk about the footplanting made me think "Okay we are going to be able to see that Kevin Durant Jump SHot montage" but no lol.

Oh well I liked what I saw either way.

I think the PS3/PS4 comparison did a alright job of showing the footplanting. You see the defender on PS3 do a lot of sliding between his steps. On PS4 its not there. They could've showed more of course.
