NBA 2K14 Still Suffering From Dashboard Kickbacks, Corrupt Saves, Modes Not Working

While reading poloelite's latest blog and checking Twitter mentions, I wanted to gauge the community on any recent and/or lingering issues they have been having with NBA 2K14 on Xbox One and PS4. 2K Sports should communicate these sorts of issues a lot better than what they have been doing on social media and other venues. Communication is key here, customers are feeling ignored.

Please list the console you are having the issue on and explain in detail what isn't working correctly. I'm not talking about a gameplay bug or issue, I'm specifically talking about blue screen CE errors, being kicked back to the dashboard/main menu, not being able to load up certain modes or corrupted game saves.

I want to get as much feedback as I can here and forward it to the right people. Based off the mentions of many 2K Twitter accounts, it's safe to say a lot of people aren't happy with the support they are receiving.

I'm also going to tweet this out, get feedback and update this post as necessary. Below are just some of the recent tweets I've received.

MyCareer keep sending me back to the dashboard on Xbox One. @RobRodgers__

Since November on X1, that Online league literally last a day to mere hours. Started up a 28 user lg..handful of games played..2 hrs later dead. @MistaWelcome
can't play my player, game loads up than boots me directly back to X1 dashboard. All that time wasted @kidyungn
PS4. MyGM mode. Can't alter the details of a contract offer to a free agent. Stuck with the offer that appears. @DavidLSwan
PS4, freezes at menu before entering any mode, freeze during exhibition gms offline & still cant start mycareer due to server error @bubbacroft8
X1, I basically have a game that doesn't work. start a MYGM or MyPlayer it wont save & kicks u to home screen, can only do quick match @MikeyMike329

I'm also getting the main menu kick on Xbox One also. It's happening when I go into any of my MyCareer or MyGM saves. My first career I was almost 60 games in and had an overall of 81 that I was working to get the special edition Lebron unlock and it corupted my file. I also have 2 other MyCareers that I have spent at least 30 dollars on to have for online and can't play those either. I submitted a ticket with 2k and they sent me a pretty generic email back after a week that basically said to check all my cables and my network. They however did say that for the MyCareer that was corupted, they would refund my VC as long as I sent them a picture showing that the file was corupted and I deleted the file on my end. The only problem is, I can't delete it. The screen just goes back to the main menu and doesn't delete it. Altogether I have probably spent close to 100 dollars in VC for all my game modes and probably won't see that money again. I did figure out that if you have an optional Gamertag, you can play all the modes with no problems. You just have to start from scratch.

On the XBox One, my My Career player lost all attributes... I'm rated 25 overall BUT, I'm still in the same part of my career... I've contacted 2k so many times and still can't get it resolved... This has been well over a month now!

Since you reinstalled, does it load up every time? Or did you have to repeat it? (Current workaround requires you to do it all the time). Did you restart your career? Or was the other save still usable? Are you able to equip accessories? Thanks!

This game, unfortunately ... it is impossible to play online with the conditions imposed by 2k this year! Offline is a great game (in terms of gameplay, it is inconceivable that you can not play a season or offline partnership with a friend at home ... or everything that has been said about myPlayer and bugged mygm !)

xbox one - MyGM and MyPlayer saves both corrupted once their outage just after Christmas - no response to support ticket after 10+ days.

I can restart other saves, but have lost VC spent already in corrupted ones

I'm having the same problem as a lot of people where MyGm constantly quits and goes to the main menu. I have deleted files and they disappear and I start a new fantasy draft and after the draft I will look at my roster and it will quit the mode and if I go back in it will be the file that I already deleted. It's completely ridiculous and 2k needs to do something about it, especially if we spent VC on our GM. (Xbox One)

XBOX1 - Problem with MyGM and MyCareer. Sends me to main menu in 2k. still getting kicked to dashboard.
Private team up does not work. Roster files dont load to everyone the same. Some of my friends get the default roster at random times. Quick match team up will often A) Freeze at the sync B) Lagout C) Split the game into two games. 1 group in 1 game and 1 group in another. This is a legacy issue that has been in the game since 2k10. WTF. The online connectivity and being able to play with friends might as well have not been included with the game. Its a worthless button.

Is Visual Concept/ 2K ashamed enough or they are just laughing at us? Maybe the latter, which explain the problem. I have never felt more disappointed with a game in my entire life...And no, I never had "E.T. the videogame".

PLZ SOMEONE ANSWER....Ok can someone plz answer these questions it's driving me crazy...ok so how do u set your bench rotation ps4 my gm? I could only set it before a game starts then next game I gotta do it all over again...second why do my players rating go down even when I'm winning and there moral good? Lastly can you set your team to practice to boost there stats like in past 2k franchises? Sorry if these questions are stupid but for the life of me I can't solve it...btw is there some sort my gm guide anywhere? Thanks alot psn tempest20

Issues with input lag (button delay) on PS4.

I'm hardwired, Motorola SB6141 connected to an Asus AC68R through Cat6e gigabit cables.

I subscribe to Comcasts' Blast! tier of 50 Down 12 Up. I regularly ping 10 milliseconds up to 100 miles away which is outstanding.

I also have the nonsense jersey twitching issue which causes my console to be unstable (makes the fan kick in and get super loud). I've tried multiple PS4's so I know that's not the issue.

Both have ruined my experience since day one.

Also on PS4.

I have a surround sound system, and at first, the problem was predominant when using an optical cable (as mentioned in STLRams's post, it only does this when playing NBA2K14). So as a result, I was forced to run an additional HDMI cable through my receiver and back out to my TV to get decent audio.
Now following the "patch", the same thing is persistent with the audio using the HDMI setup, and I'm left with crappy audio no matter how I try configure it.
Seems that when VC tries to pull themselves out of one hole, they dig up a few more to stumble into in the process.

Xbox One:

When i load My Career, i can play the next game but i don't get the VC i earned, back in the plane, if i quit MyCareer after the game, it won't save so i'm stuck playing the same game VS. Pistons for ever and without receiving the VC...

Also, if i uprade My Player skills, the next time i load My Career, the VC cost for the upgrade is gone but my skills stay the same as before the upgrade, i'm getting robbed...

I have 3 " My Career " and it's the same in all 3, it's been 2 weeks...

Since My Career won't work, i started My GM for testing and i'm getting the Main Menu kickback after 4-5 sim games.

I tied deleting 1 My Carrer save and My GM saves to start over, still not working.

The My Career save i deleted even came back 1 week after by loading a My GM mode for a test....

What a mess, to say the least !

PS4 issue here, all of my myGM attributes and upgrades RESET to level ZERO. I can no longer update rotations, make trades, change ticket prices, etc. This has happened to multiple others.

When you offer a player a contract offer him the contract then (if on xbox) hold down on dpad and x then it a until you reach the next contract screen. It does work for me. The worst thing this game has done to me is glitch the playoffs in both of my gms...

Can't play my buddy in just two player, controller always disconnects and have to sign back in very frustrating. Happens at least like 7 times a game no lie.

For the Xbox One, sorry forgot to mention. When we turn the controller back on we have to each sign in as different gamertags to have our controllers pop up on select sides and switches us back and fourth from player one to two.
