There's a lot to digest folks, so here's my first article for MLB 14 The Show this year. Included is over 1,300 words, a video interview with Ramone Russell, Release Dates, and the new PS3 trailer.

I had hands-on with PS3 and (briefly) PS4, with additional time on both with Ramone. The Vita version was not onsite, but in terms of features, beside the smaller amount of Presentation (as always on Vita) the game is feature-complete across all 3 platforms.

At least OSFM will be ready to go on day 1 for PS4, given that rosters are cross-platform, right?

Also, waiting until May isn't a big deal. If it is such a big deal to you, then why did you buy a PS4 so far ahead of time with the unfounded assumption that the game would be released in March/April?

I don't understand why anyone would buy a PS4 for this game prior to any details being released for it. Why not save your money and wait for the info to come out before making a decision?

If you activate Quick Counts, it lasts the entire game. It's an option though, you're never forced to use them or not.

Ya that was my first reaction too. All of April is pretty much a waste as I wont play franchise or anything until the OSFM rosters come out. Really no point in me getting the PS3 version but I probably still will if they offer a 10 upgrade to ps4 version or something.

Not sure. All they mentioned was that the franchise from PS3 2014 will work on PS4 2015.

I don't know if rosters will be cross platform.

I'm interested in the changes to RttS that Ramone hinted at. Infamous: Second Son and hopefully Watch Dogs will keep me busy until '14 for PS4 drops in May. No disappointment from me.

1. All scoreboards and walls are fully functional.

2. Kids in the crowd now

3. Crowd members will now catch foul balls and be able to reach over and grab fouls that roll by.

4. They’ll also hold signs up, and those signs will be contextual. So if a player starts heating-up, you’ll probably see some fans rooting him on in this manner.

5. Pitcher can now pick up the rosin bag and throw it back down.

6. Bat & Ball boys

7. All of the crowd audio and chants have been re-recorded in High Quality.

Everyone of my requests that I have been wishing for over the years on the PS3 is finally going to be in MLB 14 The Show on PS4!!!

I am so happy right now you have no idea!!!!

Today is a good day. Pretty much got the amount of info I suspected. Release dates aren't very surprising. This is just the beginning of info to be coming out.

I'm thinking that yes....indeed.....the rosters will be transferable across all platforms.

I also have X-Ray vision....and can see that there is one little but extremely important addition for those who like to edit players.
It's a little foggy right now...but perhaps it will become clearer as the day progresses....

Great news looking forward to MLB 14 The Show on PS4 this May. Disappointed by the May release date but it will be well worth the wait.
