MLB 14 The Show Release Dates - PS3, Vita (April 1), PS4 - "May" (Trailer Included)

MLB 14 The Show finally has a release date: April 1 for PS3/Vita and May for PS4 users.

I have the same question. I think they said you could (within the same year, that is), but what they didn't specify is if we can do that from '14 Vita to '15 PS4 (two articles only mentioned from '14 PS3 to '15 PS4).

Noticed in the trailer that the Braves stadium still has that horrible lighting bug for the PS3. I hope it is fixed for the PS4 version.

I really hope their is a PS3 to PS4 upgrade system in place... I can't play Madden for 3 more months because if I have to choose between the two, I'm definitely going for the PS4 version...

I will rent the PS3 version and will use that save for my PS4 version... They punish us with the release date... I punish them with a rent! xD

As disappointing as a May release might be, I guess it is what it is. I was going to comment that the wall color of fenway looked way to light but then I searched pictures of fenway SCEA is not as far off as I first thought. However, ps4 version is looking good, very please with the new additions, and can't wait to see this game in action.

MLB season runs from April till end of October inc playoffs.

Game is coming out in May.

Who in the hell swapped May and July around without telling me?

They probably want to boost PS3 sales, even though I have a PS3 I'll be holding off til may for the PS4 version. Most of my money goes into PS4 games now not PS3.

Whoever didn't expect a delay for the PS4 was kidding themselves.
I am disappointed too, but just because I want the game so bad!

With that being said, May is NOT 1/2 of the season, its literally 1 month after the season starts.
