NHL 15 Ratings Will Be Revealed Soon

EA Sports will start revealing NHL 15 player ratings soon, according to their Twitter account.

Last year they posted the top 50 rated players in late August but it looks like they might go in a different direction this year.

The tweet asks "Who should be the top defensiveman in NHL 15?" with choices between Duncan Keith, Zdeno Chara, Drew Doughty and Shea Weber. It appears as though they may take the Madden approach and release player ratings from the top players at each position.

Either way, player ratings will be coming soon.

UPDATE: NHL 15 player ratings will begin on Monday.

As a Bruins fan, it breaks my heart to say this, but I think I would have to go with Keith. Big Zee is still pretty friggin' great, tho. I actually think that Ryan Suter should also be in this discussion.

I just hope that these ratings will also reflect on the game...not just the fancy numbers.

Sounds like I should release the tentative Revamped player ratings for NHL 15 as well.

I like Shea Weber he has a real good shot from the point unfortunately he is stuck in Nashville. Really like to see him in that winged wheel it's not been the same since we lost Lidstrom into retirement.

I'm excited to see what the ratings EA is actually giving are. I'd love to see more separation, would certainly make Revamped's job a lot easier.

With that said, Simple, the whole Revamped team, and I started tackling our database updates almost 2 months ago to give us a big headstart on this years release.

I will have to go with Keith, but if they added Suter to the discussion I would probably have listed them as 1A and 1B.

I'm going to have to say that the Norris Trophy winner should be the best rated defenseman on the game. So that makes the winner Duncs!

Bleh, the Norris Trophy usually goes to the player that has the best offensive stats, which is dumb IMHO. I still think Weber is the best and has been for a while.
