EA Sports Season Ticket News Post

That weird moment where the guy you thought was dead, actually walks into the room and is still completely alive. With this news, it leaves PlayStation 4 gamers out in the cold, in terms of early access games, since EA Access is an Xbox One exclusive.

At least that's how it feels this morning when we learned EA Sports announced that EA Sports Season Ticket is returning this year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 over a month ago with absolutely zero fanfare. There wasn't even a press release sent out about the mode, which is very strange for EA despite the likely lack of mass appeal this program is going to bring this year.

The benefits to subscribing this year are as follows:
  • Early Access to Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, and FIFA 15.
  • 24 Weeks of Ultimate Team Packs
  • 20% discount on additional DLC
You can find out more on Season Ticket by visiting EA Sports' official site.

UPDATE: This will be the last year of EA Sports Season Ticket.

Quote:
Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15 and NHL 15 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be the final games to participate in this program.

I think that's great news.

Definitely something to consider if you lack options...

You can blame Sony for that. They turned down EA access

Well that sucks that the PS4 players are left with nothing.

what I don't get is they waited this long to add it back to ps3/360 why couldn't they add it to ps4? yea we have the ps now but half games on there I never even heard of or have interest in playing.

I mean heck nhl.... is getting a demo and yet its going to be on all consoles... so us ps4 users are left out while every console gets 4-5 days early access.

I mean I was thinking of getting this but then again that's $20 for season ticket then 5 days later shelling out another $65 on release day that's $85 bucks. and bad thing is I couldn't even start cfm or anything like that because nothing would transfer over to the ps4 version.

This is the main reason I've yet to move up to next gen. I traded my original XBox for a 360, and you know what happened next...."The Red Rings Of Death". I'll keep waiting until the dust settles, all the software/hardware issues are resolved, whatever! I learned the hard way...."patience is a virtue"

only reason i see this is the try and milk the rest of what last-gen has in terms of player base. they know they wont have as many players on the last gen as they did previously. so now they will try and milk what they can then eventually move to next-gen fulltime.

How much is the Season Ticket? 20 bucks?

It's only for the Ps3 and Xbox 360? Or will there be a late release for the PS4 and Xbox One?

Well like some of you I still haven't bought a Xbox One. I plan on getting a new console in 2015. And since EA Season Ticket will be coming back this year I will get the 360 version of all the EA Sports titles. Good news!!

Can anyone tell me how much this is going to cost for 360? I know the website says 19.99, but when I went to re subscribe it says 3.99 plus tax. Is that monthly or what? I'm confused.

# 16 coogrfan @ 08/19/14 10:42 AM
I was able to justify the cost of this to myself in the past because it allowed me to play NCAA and Madden early. Now? Pass.

Might be a glitch or something but I was able to get it renewed on 12 months for $4

There's no way that could be monthly, even for EA. That'd be over $50, which is damn near the price of the game itself.

I'm starting to think the $4 Season Ticket only applies to last year's games. If you go to "EA Sports Season Ticket Benefits," it shows all of last year's games (Madden 25, NFL 14, FIFA 14, Tiger Woods 14, NCAA 14) and the perks you receive.
