EA Sports has just posted a sneak peek NHL 15 gameplay trailer and noted on Twitter that we will see overhead gameplay tomorrow.

this kind of presentation PLUS IMPROVED AI and GAMEPLAY.....then this would be perfect hockey.

We've more or less been waiting since NHL 07, so I definitely agree with all that this refresh is a big deal. I think so far it seems like the best new feature. Whether that's a good thing or bad thing remains to be seen I guess. Either way, hopefully we won't have to sit through the exact same stuff for another 8 years this time!

Also hoping today's trailer is what we've been waiting for..

I don't think they specified, but they're on the west coast so it's only 8:20am there right now. I'd expect anytime after noon, EST.

If this was other than sports game...sure it could be a candidate. But NHL is a SPORTGAME and it supposed to reflect the real thing for it to win SPORT GAME OF THE YEAR dont you think?

For the most part it seems like this years version will represent the real sport from the presentation to the gameplay. We still need to see it in action obviously but it could very well be SGOY. Golf Club could be an under the radar title though which wins it.

Yeah, this is a problem for sure. Doc seems to have a tough time keeping up with half the action, and then sometimes it just goes dead as there is an exciting play happening in front of the net? Very odd. Disappointed with what I heard.
