Wait so the lowest rated player is only a 64. Only four players over 90. There will be a lot of underrated players, guys rated 74 will take over games.

You can't just assume things like that without getting the game in your hands.

Wrote up my analysis. It's a bit too extensive to post in forum.

Looks like your team's gonna be... lacking at SG.

Man you ain't lying! Gerald Green was ridiculously great in NBA 2K14. He would destroy me. No matter what I threw at him LOL

There were no SGs in the bottom of previous 2Ks. You are correct that it's the weakest position in the league, but what this means is that the end of bench guys aren't valuable enough to make the cut, whereas most teams carry excess big men.

3rd string SGs don't have the ball skills to be PGs, which means a SF is ultimately more valuable due to the size advantage.

these are pretty low and only 4 players above 90. lower player ratings will = better sim basketball. hopefully no more cheese.

It's a videogame, there will always be cheese.

Curious about the top ratings. KD, LBJ and who else over 90?

No use debating ANY Overall Rating UNTIL we see IF any NEW Attributes have been introduced into the game and IF All Rating effect the OVERALL Rating Equally.

Not surprised to see Jeff Ayres near the very bottom of the league. The guy was a complete disappointment last year and deserving of his nickname of "Errors." Only issue is his position is wrong since he is predominantly a power forward not a center.

I wonder how low Corey Joseph, Aron Baynes and Austin Daye will be rated?

Waaaaaaaay overrated... 42 at best

Ayres plays most of his minutes at center next to Boris Diaw.

Baynes is currently un-signed not probably not part of these ratings.

Just about every player listed was < 60 OVR last year and Daye was 63 last year. My initial guess would be he scales with the rest and jumps to something like 68/69.

glad to hear the raps won't be shafted as per usual, just like in the real NBA with officiating! (zing!)

But usually players in the past that have been less known or haven't proved themselves are penalized in unrealistic ways.

A lot of times these guys are YOUNG, but to get their overall rating down they are made to be slow with low agility etc. Even Jonas V last year was rated I believe a 68 OVR and was very slow and athletically bad. In real life, like a lot of bigmen, he can stop and change directions while running super fast, but he can get up the court and catch alley-oops for dunks at times (I've witness live) and has soft hands, and can do post moves quickly and block shots. In the game he was like a big, slow old man, but in reality he's fairly quick for a big guy and is like 22 years old.

I'm glad these are the lowest ratings, because NBA players on the bench or whatever can still make layups and get up the court and contribute. I felt like last year you had a lot of bench players 'load up' too long to make a layup and miss it, it's like at time they are poor high school players lol
