It's crazy how the old game even captured when crowds would erupt and drown out the stars' names. They should do that in 2K15. It'd really capture the hype.

THIS FEATURE WOULD BE THE GREATEST IF......

They had Custom Arena Music for Next Gen

Still no news on that? I hit up xbox on twitter and they pretty much gave me a petition page to ask that ripping CDS to xbox be added. How can you be next gen and not have a last gen feature?

The same way they got the player voices for 2k14 I'm sure they could do the same with starting line-ups.
I disagree. I don't think sports games should have paid DLC period. It was pretty absurd that you had to pay for All Star Weekend a few years ago if you didn't preorder the game.

I want this for my Bulls!!! I hope we can replace the music because I doubt they have the Bulls specific intro music licensed.

Then they would have to pay each and every announcer for the use of their voices and we all know that ain't about to happen.

I don't think it's laziness. Those dudes work hard. I just don't think they have the "gift" to see it in that regard. IMO.

Man I wish custom sounds were on the XB1/PS4. That intro music was kind of lame.

Loved everything else though.

Well I agree to one point. Yes it was bad to pay for teams that we normally got in the past for free, but this would be an optional choice. I know this idea would probably never leave the ground but it would be awesome if it did

Your best shot is probably going to be streaming or accessing music through a hard drive.

The Xbox 1 has already added the functionality in their latest preview but it wont be live in enough to add custom music back to 2k15.

That is "right" to you? It was good for 2002 but its light years better in 2k15. Shoot, the teamamates arent even lined up right.

I guess I am glad they are adding it back in but it feels very dry. The players seem "ho-hum" about the intros, the crowd is sitting on their butts and overall it feels "empty". It would be nice if they could pump this up a little more and add some better music. fans should be on their feet for sure.

There's a lot of truth there. I think it's worth treating as a building block if nothing else though. I like encouraging 2K to continue adding realistic details like this. Perhaps they had fear that they wouldn't be able to add it in the manner with which they wanted in the past. At least now, they've got it out there, it exists, and hopefully it's now in position to be tweaked and perfected in the future.

Still, as a whole, I'm always wondering about 2K's audio. With how far in-game graphics have come over the past decade, sometimes it feels like the audio is lagging far behind by comparison.
