Updated OP w/ Euroleague teams.

Will get clarification from 2K if those are in fact the same teams.

Great! I'm a fan of the Euro-league and it's good to have confirmation that they are returning. Hopefully they're included in MyLeague/MyGM this year.

Glad to see the Euroleague teams are returning. I had a lot of fun playing with them in 2K15.

Like I said in my other thread, 2k needs to make Euroleague prospects like Dario Saric detailed and high quality

This is unacceptable

Wait could this potentially be hinting at a Euroleague option in my player? Like after high school you can play in a euro tournament?

Most, if not all, of the European players and teams were very detailed in NBA 2K14. They were outdated, but they were on par with the NBA player models. I'm hoping 2K15 was an aberration because of how many more teams they added. With the number of teams staying the same there's no reason for them to look as "generic" as they did last year.

Considering there are teams that didn't play in last season's Euroleague or the upcoming one, can 2K really call them "Euroleague" Teams. Better to just label it as European Clubs and leave it at that.

I assume there will be some changes, as Montepaschi Siena went bankrupt after 2013-2014 and not only didn't take part in Euroleague, but also in the italiano pro league

Montepaschi Siena failed, no longer exists. Now it called Mens Sana and play in the championship A2 of Italy. Dinamo Sassari is now in Euroleague.

Can't say I've ever seen a Euroleague game, and I most likely won't touch these teams except on the very rare occasion. But, I'm glad to see 2K include them for those who are interested.

Now, if we can get an expanded college lineup next year, 2K will have a little something for everyone.

I use Euroleague players in Myleague all the time.

Off the top of my head... Hezonja, Saric, Rudy Fernandez, Davis Bertans, Bogdan Bogdanacvic, Jan Vesely

Why would you want something to be DLC rather than just already in the game?

That makes no sense to me.

Anyway, I use Euroleague guys all the time in my franchise. Keith Langford, Jacob Pullen, Sasha Kahn, Sergio Rodriguez, etc.

I don't imagine too many people buy NBA 2K just for the Euroleague. Their inclusion may help in Europe, though. Either way, they are a nice addition to the game. Even more so if they get incorporated into MyCareer, MyGM, or MyLeague.

Having the Euroleague helps the roster. Things like having Joffrey Lauvergne's cyberface already in the game so Nuggets fans don't get stuck with some generic fake looking rookie.

However contrary to common sense the NBA is way more popular than Euroleague even in the EU.

Sure it help with rosters. But it really is a nice addition, IMO. I say this not knowing anything about Euroleague prior to their inclusion in the game. It's fun to play with the teams and players with a lesser, but different, skillset than NBA. I even started following the league on Euroleague.net. NBA TV even broadcasts some games. I'd love to play a Euroleague season (with group format and all). Seems like it would be fun and different. While the NBA is more popular, there's a reason the Euroleague inclusion is present on the cover of the French version.

I want to be able to draft a guy and keep his rights as he plays and improves his rating in the euro league for a few years.

This is what I'm hoping. They need to include the Euroleague into the Association modes somehow. This is the best way. Since you don't have the D League let a Euroleague season be simmed underneath the NBA regular season like they used to have w/ the D League.

Retaining rights to players drafted overseas while they develop for 2-3 years would be amazing
