They've already confirmed that the remaining teams would be from the last 15 years

Great addition!

So how deep are all these teams? Are there any confirmed roster lists anywhere?

Spurs 02-03 (Duncan, D.Robinson, Ginobli, Parker, Kerr, Kevin Willis, Steve Smith, Sthephen Jackson)

7 players of this team will be in the game for sure.

Lakers 03-04 would be nice (Shaq, Kobe, Malone, Payton). But I donīt think that 2k will put this team.

Maybe the Lakers 08-09 or 09-10 because a lot of players of these teams are in the game too.

I would like to see the Warriors 06-07 (Baron Davis, J. Rich, Stephen Jackson, Monta Ellis, Mat Barnes)

If Wayne Simien isn't on the Heat's '06 roster, I'm not buying.

Give me that team and the 2000-01 Kings, only because Jason Williams is on that team instead of Mike Bibby on the later versions

Man... now that name is a blast from the past! About as much as Slava Medvedenko and Mike Penberthy is for me on the 01 Lakers.

hoping for '02 kings and '02 nets but knowing 2k the kings won't make it

Definitely need Derek Anderson, Shandon Anderson, Michael Doleac, Earl Barron, and Jason Kapono. Wouldn't be right not to have our guys.

In no particular order (for the Suns);
Tom Chambers
Richard Dumas
4th Quarter Frank Johnson
Kevin Johnson
Dan Majerle
Mark West

The Pacers, I dunno. I just want to use Reggie.

I fell like they should just add the 92 Suns and call it a day. If people want the 93 Suns just create Barkley. Or they could go the old NBA Live route and have the classic Pacers and Suns with Roster Player at those positions and just make them white or something lol.

YES.

07 Warriors and 00-01 Kings should be next.

Haha, seriously though. Made for a great surprise, at least.

I really like the inclusion of the 2005 Suns. Hopefully they (and all the other classic teams) have been handled with care, both in terms of appearance (Steve Nash's hair) and playstyle (modern 2K take on seven seconds or less).

Also digging the 2006 Heat team, though being a Pistons fan doesn't make them a super draw (time seems to heal some wounds though). I thought they'd be bypassed after the 2013 Heat were added so I'm glad I was wrong.

I feel as though a Spurs team would have to be offered up as one of the final two options, especially with the current crew winding down. I'd be a fan of the 2003 or 2005 teams. I suppose '05 would offer the big three as close to their collective primes as possible though, back when Manu Ginobili had hair.

I'm not a fan of my next guess, but I feel as though one of the Gasol/Bryant/Bynum Lakers teams could make it. Again, I kind of feel I could make that team on my own and with the '98 and '01 Lakers already included, it'd feel like a little bit of Kobe Bryant overkill. Still, with a belief that 2K would like to close the classic team announcements with a popular team bang, I worry.

Ideally, I'd love to see the 2002 (or 2003) New Jersey Nets or 2007 Golden State Warriors make the cut. Those would be two awesome options, with the '07 Warriors serving as a nice retro tip of the cap to the current NBA Champions.

Also, the 2002 Kings would be nice to have back but that seems doubtful with them already having been in then subsequently pulled.

07-08 NUGGETS!

Too many heat teams. I would have prefered 02 Kings 04 Wolves and 02 Nets, but one of them won't be in the game. Probably the Kings will be missing.

I dont agree with the most recent Heat title team being in the classic teams pool... That 05-06 team is a definite though. Golden State would not beat that team...

im a suns fan and i wonder why they chose that team. im looking for team with barkley, kj and thunder dan

Hyped to hear my Suns made the cut!!!!

Would've been great for the 94/94/95, hell, even 96 Suns to have been in, but I'll take what I can get.

Still bummed most of the 'classic' teams have been from the 2000's, I'd gladly burn a hole in my pocket for DLC classic additions from the 80's and 90's.

Still, looking good 2k, just get their uniforms on point now.

# 119 BMDinTDOT @ 09/03/15 05:05 AM
Seriously no more Laker teams man It's overkill...

I also understand the historical importance of the Spurs but they're
not a fun team to use and they're nucleus of Duncan, Parker and Ginobilli
are still in the game and they can be edited if need be and they still have
the same jerseys and court for the most part.

I want to use Star players on good/fun teams that aren't in the game yet.
Eg. Jason Kidd, Barkley, Webber, Miller. Even if they couldn't get the rights
to those guys I still want those teams because they have some great
teammates I'd be interested in using plus we could edit the fake players
into those guys.

Any of these teams I would like to see though...

- 99 Knicks
- Melo Nuggets team with Camby either or of Iverson/Billups
- 2003-2004 Wolves
- 02-03 Kings
- 06-07 Cavs
- Pacers Team with Reggie, Jalen and J.O.
- Early 2000s J-Kidd Nets team

I can build a lot of other classic teams with a lot of the players on
those teams and they would be fun to use.

That is so wrong.

Firstly, the 06 Heat wouldnt have beaten the 06 Mavericks if the games were called fairly.

Secondly, a team as stagnant couldnt succeed in today's league.
