NBA 2K16 Video: Cavs vs. Warriors, Suns vs. Lakers, Rockets vs Spurs, Kings vs. Bulls

PlayStation Access has posted an interview with NBA 2K16 Senior Producer, Rob Jones. It also features some NBA 2K16 gameplay footage featuring the Cavs vs. Warriors, Suns vs. Lakers, Rockets vs Spurs and Kings vs. Bulls.

The footage is user vs. user and they don't really seem to know what they are doing, but gameplay footage is gameplay footage, so check it out and post your thoughts.

That Kobe knee wiggle move while the free throw was shot was nice seeing that he is an older player. and his jump shot seems to be different.

Sucks that these videos always have game play footage with teams being controlled by ten year olds. Doesn't do the game justice. Anyway, love the variance in body types, even if they're generally too jacked.

I usually stay away from criticizing the player in these vids....but that was rough.

You have to pick out what you can from them...lol

yeah...pretty easy to tell it's user vs user (and not good user vs user) with all of the pump fakes, sprinting directly to the basket, really dumb mistakes, etc

I at least attempt to play as realistically as I can when I try to play...not that I'm some great player either

should have just taken a few minutes of CPU vs CPU and just used that...good interview though

Between this and the Game Kings vid, after all of Monday's vids, we're getting a good amount of gameplay snippets to kind of see pretty well how the game play from a spectator's perspective. Real nice.

That said, I'm not sure we will learn much more about gameplay at this point from vids. Now it's going to be a matter of playing it and seeing it and feeling how it responds to our user inputs.

Fortunately, not many days left!

It seems like the 'momentum layup' animations are still triggering when there wasn't enough momentum by the player in the first place (also at 2:34). Hope those get fixed.

i liked the look. User vs User is the stress test i like to see. A lot of what happened in the chaos made sense.

Probably going to be like the Show where you can only choose songs from the soundtrack. The systems don't have the capability to use your own music.

Visually, the game looks awesome. I hope they removed some of the restrictions on camera placement in the replay mode. If so, I'll have a blast taking pictures with it.

The shoe game looks much improved over years past as well.

I'm not through the entire video, but theres a huge warp at 5:20 when Kawahi pump fakes.

Overall though, it looks like you have much more control over your players, foot planting looks good... I'm stoked. Love this time of year. Good seeing my dude Rob back in the spotlight.
