Very cool move from Microsoft. I love that game.
And I want more of the Forza World on PC.

The Windows store will not permit me to even download it. Not sure if it's a regional thing (Canada), or whether it is detecting that my system can't handle it.

The irony of this game, a beta, being more optimized than full releases of both Gears of War UE and Quantum Break pretty much sums up the shaky launch of UWP.

I am reminded, every time I'm tempted to get back into it, why I migrated to consoles over time and away from PC's. I realize this is a beta, but even with other recent retail purchases, nothing ever "just works". I'm getting lazier as I get older....

I updated my GPU drivers, tweaked some setting, a few reboots later....and I'm able to run the game okay, but it crashes randomly. Also, my 3rd party game pad doesn't work and the game is pretty much no fun at all using "w", "a", "s", and "d" to drive your car...

Glad they're trying to unify, but honestly, the "put it in your machine and start playing" simplicity of consoles will never be replaced for me.

Downloaded and played this a little bit this weekend. I've only played Forza on 360, but this certainly felt identical to that. Graphics were amazing. I didn't experience any setup issues or instability while playing. Everything worked as expected. It really felt polished for a beta (so far). I am a little disappointed that this is basically Forza Lite, but it is free. More over, I don't think MS is actually planning to bring Forza as we know it to the PC. There was a good interview in PCG about it and the devs seem to think PC gamers want something different. I disagree, I'd be happy with a moddable Forza port.

System I was using;
core i7 6700k
gtx 970
16gbs ddr4
win10 pro 64bit
xbox 360 wireless controller

They've said that future forza titles will also be on pc.

This game is actually a pretty solid port. I'm honestly surprised considering every other UWP game has been a mess.
