Okay so with 91 games down we're sitting at 53-38 justing winning our 9th game in a row.. The guys seem to be firing on all cylinders.. Carrasco is 12-3 posting a 2.26 ERA as the club ACE , Tomlin sits at 10-4 posting a 2.19 ERA from the number four spot. Our main clog in the lineup is Jason Kipnis batting .306, 9 long balls with 48 RBI's...

Corey Kluber went down in his 14th start of the season 6-15 and is expected to return to the rotation in mid August. During the ALL-Star break I acquired Sonny Gray from the Athletics for RHP Trevor Bauer, 2B Jose Ramirez and 1B prospect Bobby Bradley (with help from the trade discussion thread)

In the second game back from the All-Star break vs the Twins Carrasco took the mound and didn't leave till after 8 2/3 innings after allowing 2 runs with two outs in the bottom of the 9th striking out 8 while allowing 8 hits and 2 earned runs.. We look to finish off the three game sweep in the last game of the series with Salazar (7-6, 3.45 ERA) taking the mound for the Indians vs Kyle Gibson (7-6, 4.17 ERA) taking the mound for the Twins....

Two weeks from the trade deadline I will be looking to bring in some more veteran help in the likes of Carlos Beltran or Nick Markakis to help push us over the top to make a deep playoff run......
