The Titans head to New York to take on the Giants in week 3. New York (2-0) appears to be an early favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Tennessee hopes to continue their offensive dominance against New York's stingy defense. (Tennessee) - So much for defense. The Titans defeated the Steelers 51-42 in week 2 of the regular season. The Titans were controlling the game from the start, amounting a lead of 20-7 at halftime. In the second half, however, they let the Steelers pass all over their prevent defense and allowed them back into the game. In an unexpected move, the Titans have traded away rookie cornerback Alterraun Verner and rookie linebacker Rennie Curran. In return, they will receiver cornerback Randall Gay and wide receiver Lance Moore.

The Steelers are coming to town. Coming off an emotional, last second win, the Titans face off against the Steelers in week 2. Pittsburgh (0-1) is an extremely tough team to beat; and there is even somewhat of a rivalry ever since the terrible towel incident occured. The Titans need to contain Rashard Mendenhall, Mike Wallace and Hines Ward, and continue to get Chris Johnson the ball if they have hopes of winning the game.

The Titans have signed safety Mike Brown. The Titans continue to add veterans to their very young team.
To make room for Brown the Titans plan to release WR Dominique Edison.

Today, the Titans have announced that Adalius Thomas and Ken Lucas haven signed contracts and will play for the Titans in 2010. Both Veterans, they could help this young Titans team by providing experience and leadership.

Just a few minutes ago, the Titans have announced that they have traded away Will Witherspoon. He was reportedly being shopped by the team and now the trade is official. In the trade with the Lions, the Titans will receive Juilian Peterson, Maurice Morris, and Derrick Williams.

Word out of Tennessee is that Will Witherspoon may be on the move. The Titans said they have been listening to offers for him, but would not comment on what teams they were dealing with.
The Titans were also not impressed with Alvin Pearman and Javon Ringer in the preseason. They could be looking to add some RB depth before the season starts.
Adalius Thomas and Ken Lucas were in for visits yesterday, although both have left without a contract.

This year, I will be playing in the OS Vets league in Madden 11 on PS3. Contrary to what you might think, I will be the Titans. (Eagles were already taken) After playing some preseason games, I came to find out that I will not have an easy time at all in this league. It will be very tough to get the ultimate goal - to win the Super Bowl. I am ready, however. The Titans will not go down easy this year. Bring it on!

After another whole year, Madden NFL 11 has finally hit the shelves. For those Madden fans who did not get lucky enough to score an early copy, this has been the most anticipated day every year in the sports gaming world. There is a lot of debate on these forums about "sim style" gameplay. If you go online, (on PS3 or 360) there is probably a 70%-80% (pulled that number out of my behind) chance that you will encounter someone who is a "cheeser." In my experience with Madden 10, that number was 100%. I played somewhere around 30 games before I got fed up with it. Fast forward about 6 months or so, where I find the OS Vets league here on OS.
