Proving Toronto is for real.

After the big win at home vs Indiana our next game is Washington. I sim past it and we get the win. The very next game is vs the NBA Champion Heat, In Miami. Our first game vs them was at home and they embarrassed us in our home country. This time it was personal. The Raptors have alot of sneakerheads so I have the team bring out the Heat, for the Heat. Amir and DJ opt for Bred and Space Jam 11s, Nate rocks his DMP Raptor 7s, Terrence Ross wears his Lebron 8 Solar Reds. The biggest kicks on court battle was Rudy Gay wearing a pair of Lebron X EXT Corks vs Demar Derozon wearing Nike Foamposite One Galaxies. This game will surely have every sneaker blogs attention. I also opt for the "Funeral Black" Toronto Jerseys rather than the friendlier road Reds because rather it's us or them, someones going down in flames.

As the game starts I realize Shane Battier is starting at 4, it appears littlefoot himself Chris Bosh is injured, or possibly out searching for treestars. The game is very back and forth in the first 8 minutes of the first. I can instantly tell the acquisition of Javale has helped us as last time they beat us up in the post. When the reserves for both side come in we break the game open in the closing minutes of the first. DJ Augusten goes 3-3 from behind the arc, a trend that would continue for the rest of the night. He even buries one as the final buzzer of the first sounds.

In the second quarter the Heats starters come back in and level the playing field. They bring the game back to swapping leads throught the 2nd. We manage to gain a slight lead going into halftime.

Coming out of the half Coach Spoulstra must have inspired Miami. They come out of the gates hard and gain a lead on us that last throughout the 3rd quarter.

In the 4th we manage to close the gap and trade buckets with the Heat to stay in the game. Lebron has been very quiet the whole game silently grabbing boards and assisting his teammates ,but thats ok because Dwyane Wade did all the talking this game. I've had him in foul trouble all game and at this point I have him with 5 so I get greedy and try to go dierctly at him ,but every time I end up with an empty possession. We eventually go on a run similar to the Indiana game that brings us to 98 94 in the closing minutes, after some sloppy clock management and missed opportunities at the line Mimia brings it to 100 98 with about 30 seconds left on the clock. I think the game is mine since I don't have a weak free throw shooter on the floor. Amir Johnson inbounds the ball to Demar Derozen, however Shane Battier intercepts the pass and bounces it direclty off of Amir out of bounds, Miami Ball. Dwyane Wade drives the ball the full length of the court and into the basket to bring the score to 100 100. When Toronto regains possession we have about 15 seconds on the clock. I go for the high percentage shot. I give Amir the ball in the post as he hopes he can clean up the mess he's gotten us in. He's able to shake Battier and get a kind bounce off the rim to make it 100 102 Toronto with 4.2 left on the clock. Miami inbounds the ball to Lebron who can't make a half court shot giving Skip Bayless another reason to try and justify Lebron not being clutch tomorrow on First Take.

Our star dominated the reiging league MVP this game earning the Jordan Player of the game

Like I said, Lebron was very quiet this game. He did alot of dirty work, but didn't even break double figures in the points column. This game would have been drasically diffrent had King James shown up.

This wasn't as dirty of a win as the Pacers game, we just dug ourselves into a hole at the very end, but the guys came through when it counted. Another win for Air Canada, further solidifying that this isn't the "Same ol' Raptors".
