Nuggets at, Warriors Preview
Posted on January 26, 2013 at 01:37 AM.

Denver, after finally ending their 3 game losing streak are heading out to the bay to face the Golden State Warriors. After missing Denver's last game due to a twisted ankle, Ty Lawson will be back in action much to the delight of his head coach George Karl. Karl said in an interview earlier today, "While I'm very happy that we have a backup point guard that can run the game in Andre Miller, I'm very excited to get Ty and his great scoring ability back. His ability to get in the paint and draw defenders really opens up the game for our outside shooters to get going." Lawson's return is made a little bit easier due to the fact that Golden State's star point guard Stephen Curry will miss this game due to an undisclosed injury, however we have been assured by the Warrior's front office that it is just a day-to-day injury.

Game Notes
Despite snapping their 3-game losing streak against the Jazz without PG Ty Lawson, the Nuggets are going to need him at full strength to take on the Warrior's strong offense and keep their winning attitude moving forward.
