Just Ranting

I don't understand things at times. People are so fake that you never know who to trust. One day they look you in the face and smile, then the next day they won't even speak to you. Why is that?

It has been that way my whole life. Who can I look to if they aren't there half the time. People come to me with their problems and I always listen, but when I have problems, well, where does everyone go?

This weekend has been amazing. All of my sports teams won, all the teams I hate lost. I met a new girl at the NC State football game, and one of the girls I am into back at home wants to hang out over Thanksgiving when I get home.

Everyone has that song that when they hear they just stop and think, "Wow this is my life story." Some of these songs are motivational songs and others are soft ballads that touch the heart. Right now I am listening to "Gotta Be Somebody" by Nickelback, and I have that feeling.

What is it about sports? Why does sports bring out the best and the worst of people. Growing up you would always know the teams you love and the teams you hate.

For myself, I grew up representing 4 teams; Dolphins, Dodgers, Duke and the Charlotte Hornets. I would live and die with my teams. My mom would always try to tell me, "it's just a game." but we know that this is more than just a game.
